Revdex.com: Dan [redacted] is mistaken I have taken that Muskie mount on more than one occasion to get repairIn one occasion I was told to call or come back in a week and the fish would be ready to goWRONG I called numerous times and was told it was not finished and he would get back to me when it was finishedor weeks later I sent him an Email asking whats the hold up and I was upset that I was told it would be done in a week or so and then it takes or weeks later!? He added the clear coat out of the blueI never asked for itHe did it because it took so long and that was his way of saying sorry which was a plusBut from the get go I knew on the inside that something and didn't look rightThe fish looked smaller and the color was off but I ignored my instincts about it and I used poor judgment by not speaking up at the the timeI was just happy just to get my fish back after him telling me in about or month my mount would be finished which it wasn't And finally after about months of numerous calls and talking and being told it would be done in another week, which turned out to be liesI don't know if he was lazy or whatBut he has very poor customer service to say the leastOnce you pay him and you start having issues watch out I guess he isn't so friendly anymore Because He did cheap work and he got paid and you get screwedAnd as far as the length goes I have taken that fish to different taxidermists in the near area and was told that the fish was smaller by three inchesAnd the job he did overall was poor to say the leastAnd that I am not the only one this has happened to and that they are hearing a lot of issues coming from Dan [redacted] 's shopAnd the customers don't want to go backAnd are going else whereAnd I understand whyI know he does not want to make it rightSo I'm trying to get what I can for it else whereAnd If I don't succeedI will throw it in the garbageAnd that is what I think of his workI got screwed and got taken for a rideWow to say the leastI am deeply hurt that I was taken advantage ofHe knew that I was new to taxidermy and I guess that put a bullseye on my forehead along with sucker written on itI have nothing further to say I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] contacted my office and left messages on my answering machine on a day I was closed for business Later the same day he filed a complaint with the Revdex.com bureauThis is the only time I have had contact with mr [redacted] since receiving his initial orderI have contacted Mr [redacted] and have discussed a completion time with himI will not relay my opinions on this customer or the way your business operates like a law enforcement entity which you are not

This is the only time I have had contact with mr. [redacted] since receiving his initial order. I have contacted Mr....

This is my last response regarding this fish. [redacted] starts out by saying I did not color his fish correctly. Why wasn't something said 2 years ago when he picked it up? [redacted] was totally accepting in the look of his fish or he wouldn't of payed for it . He then states he repeatedly brought it back for repairs . Untrue! He brought it back once for repair of the fish and once for some bubbles in the plaque which I gave a 2nd coat of clear to correct. I stood behind my work both times and correct his concerns. 2years later he is calling me to complain about the length of his fish which did not shrink,it is the same exact fish. I told him I was too busy to deal with him the week that he called and told him that if he wanted to discuss this further he could bring it in and we could go over it the next week. He had decided to contact Revdex.com instead. As I had stated before I have always stood behind my work and will continue to do so for reasonable customers. He has chose not to be reasonable and now wants to be slanderous and call me a sham and a fraudulent businessman. I have no obligation to assist him nor will I address this any further with him. I don't know of any company that would warranty anything 2years later. Maybe next time he will learn not to try to do a power play on someone that was willing to help him out in the first place.

I have been doing taxidermy for nearly 30 years. I have stood behind my work from day 1 and have a lengthy client base all over the US. It is true [redacted] had brought his fish back in the winter months for cracking in the head/gill area and fin area. I fixed it for him as would any customers mount....

Taxidermy skins of ALL species are susceptible to shrinkage due to humidity changes which are constantly changing in people's homes. However NO fish will shrink 3 inches in length. No fish will be able to be accurately measured as when it was fresh and laying on a table. No fish will accurately depict its color from a snap shot taken in outdoor light at 10 feet away. My skills and quality are truly represented and depicted by multiple items in my store and on my web site and highly recommended by thousands of customers. My skills and experience over time allow me the ability to say this customers accusations are absurd and unjust. He picked up his fish ,acknowledged it as his fish, paid balance due with no complaints on quality, size, color or anything and now 2 years later thinks his fish has shrunk and is of wrong coloration. I think not. 
Further more I was very polite to [redacted] when he called and told him that I was very busy this week and could not address any concerns regarding this this particular week but if he needed to discuss this the following week would be better. I was however totally shocked to have a customer come to me with all the concerns he had and told him I was. I also told him I don't know how I could ever address his concerns when he already has this perception in his mind. It is also apparent that after he hung up with me he immediately addressed this issue with the Revdex.com trying to tarnish my reputation by a negative review. My dealings with [redacted] at this time are over. I will not do any further work or repair for him what so ever nor will I buy back your fish. Maybe we need a website to review absurd customers.
