Failure to comply with negotiated contract, provide product and significant lack of customer communication resulting in a horrible experience.
My husband and I signed an agreement with [redacted] of D and D Cabinets on January 16, 2013. At that time we provided him with a $4300.00 cash deposit, which was noted on the agreed upon final invoice. Since the date that the contract was negotiated, we have yet to see our cabinets. Many emails, drop byes, and phone calls to [redacted] cell phone and showroom have resulted in no resolution. I got Showplace Cabinets, the Manufacturer, involved as I had no place left to turn. They have been wonderful in trying to get resolution for us in this order. Essentially, [redacted] has a dispute with Showplace Cabinets, and he failed to tell us this until 8 weeks after the order was placed. Due to this dispute Showplace Wood is not shipping our order and has confirmed this. We have been told by [redacted] week after week that he "will be fixing" this but in speaking with Credit Manager, at Showplace, we are finding that he has not. We had a meeting this past Monday, when he finally agreed to meet and accepted our "text" message to set up a time becuase he has not answered any phone call or email directly, he said that he would be sending out a bank check to Showplace Wood on that Monday and that they would be receiving it by Wednesday, March 27th. I called Showplace today and they have not received it. I called [redacted] several times, sent text messages and have gotten NO answer. It is my assumption that he told us another lie and did not follow through to make this situation right for us. At this point, I am committed to either getting my money back, our cabinets which we paid for, or going to the Attorney General's Office and taking [redacted] to court.

This experience has been an absolute nightmare. We have lost $4300 and have NOTHING to show for it, and he doesn't even care. He has shown absolutely no empathy or sympathy for us. It is clear that he does not know how to run his business and that he doesn't have any money to pay the manufacturer, which is why I don't have my cabinets. [redacted] does not respond to any email, phone call, or drop bye to the showroom.
