See attachment for response in its entirety.In response to the above mentioned complaint, we feel we have responded to Mr***’s problems within reason, Mr*** was aware, as stated in his remarks, that some components used in the assembly of his truck were used and or rebuiltFurther,
the truck was sold with an aftermarket warranty from *** 2000.In an effort to maintain good customer relations, D & B reimbursed Mr*** for repairs deemed directly associated with the assembly process performed by us and not covered by *** Warranty which included the starter, broken bolts in engine mount, lower tensioner and belt, exhaust clamp and miscellaneous bolts in the amount of $2042.98.D & B Truck and Equipment Sales takes great pride in the products we assemble and always strive for customer satisfaction, Although we regret the difficulties Mr*** has experienced, we sees that by providing the *** Warranty and the above stated reimbursement that we have upheld our agreement with Mr***It is standard industry practice for drivers to perform safety and maintenance checks dailyWe are not responsible for components that work loose during actual operation of the truck.Lastly, as the warranty agreement states, the operator should cease operation immediately and notify the Warranty Company, as well as, routine standard maintenance checks specified per the agreementD & B has no way to determine if those have been followed.D & B Truck and Equipment

Regards, The [redacted] Warranty mentioned by D&B Trucks and Equipment had expired when the components mentioned had failed. They simply are wrong in stating that they are acting in good faith. Just because a worn out component is painted and sold as a rebuilt component is a poor business practice. I have a good reputation in my area and the businesses I deal with locally do not treat me or their other customers like this nor do I treat people in this fashion. Maybe they have gotten their act together since I bought my "nightmare", but I need some financial help with this problem.

I bought a Kenworth T-600 Semi truck(glider kit) in October/2013. 1st. the truck was not the correct truck I ordered, but I drove 500 miles to pickup truck and they were not going to give me my deposit back of $10000.00. After arriving home with truck. I took to [redacted] Transit for a dot inspection so I could lease it on with FedEx Ground . They found that the belt were all misaligned because the wrong parts were used to install truck. I was told by [redacted] that they will pay the bill. It has not been paid. I was told that warranty not covered would be taken care by builders if Cat And Kenworth warranty don't cover. I also had problems with Powered steering pump, Starter and wiring. I was told by [redacted] That he paid my bill at CIT(1/20/2014) . It has not been paid he blatantly lied to me. I also was told by CIT, Altofer Cat and Whayne Cat and Rick's Transit that the clutch linkage is not correct and will cause more problems. Like tearing clutch out and sense it is builders mistake Cat warranty will be voided. I have even be talking to[redacted] from[redacted] Cat. I asking him to help talk to D&B into fixing clutch correctly and returning my calls. He agrees that the warranty will be denied because of linkage. I have called ,texted, emailed and faxed them NO REPLIES. I spent $138650.00 on a defective truck please help!
