Our complaint is similar to others hereOn May of we placed a down payment with [redacted] and his company DBA Custom Kitchen & Bath of Texas, to do a major renovation of our kitchen and pantryThe contract stipulated a start date after August with the project to be substantially completed within days • On June we issued a second check for purchase of material for countertops • On August we issued a third check for purchase of tile backsplash • On August we paid fourth check for the project walkthrough at which time our kitchen was demolished • One week later on August we paid the first half of cabinet construction Since that time no further work was doneOn November, days since our kitchen was demolished and days since the payment of half the cost of the cabinets, we cancelled the contract and filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney GeneralThroughout the process [redacted] consistently failed to communicate in either a timely
