Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We were introduced to her through our church friends. My friend explained that she needed repairs and could not afford the estimates she'd received in Columbus. It's our understanding that her son was driving the car when ti broke down, and was towed to...
Sancus Blvd. Through my friend, I said I would for $350 replace both front axles, and she would be responsible for the tow. She agreed to this. I took my flatbed to pick up the car and bring it to my shop. We did not drive the car. One front axle was broken in half, the cv joint was gone, and it made sense to replace both as they were the same age. I picked up the car on the 7th, I bought the axles on the 8th. I replaced them on the 8th with brand new axles. I called her to let her know her repair job was complete and she could pick up her car. I told her she owed $556.00. She asked why it was so much. I said she owed for the tow, the parts and labor. As a gesture of customer courtesy and a means of resolving the dispute I reduced the bill by $126.00. She came on Monday, the 13th, and paid in cash $430.10. We're sorry she continues to experience problems with her car, but they are not related to any work we performed for her. She has a 2004 Honda Accord with approximately 130,000 miles. We have no hard feelings and hopes she can find a repair shop for her future needs.
