Curry Emergency Group

I went to the emergency room on 9/11/2016. The insurance paid the claim directly to me instead of the hospital. I have a copy of the cleared check that I paid to Curry Emergency Group. I also provided them a letter from my bank stating that the check had cleared. I provided this information numerous times and continued getting collection letters from the. Over three years later, I received a call in December of 2019 saying that I owed the same amount again. They said that I paid for a different claim, and I have never received a bill for the unpaid claim. At this point, I have a different insurance company and bank. I spoke to the insurance company, and the claim had never been filed. It is too late, three years later, to file the claim. The collection company called me again in January while I was at work. I was unable to talk, and the representative was extremely rude. So, the first time I've ever heard of this bill was over three years past the date of service. The next month, they put it on my credit report for collections.
