Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because I need to counter settlement offer amount (see justifications below):
SUBJ: RESPONSE TO CREDIT
ASSOCIATES OF HAWAII’S LETTER DATED 2/2/16
Attachments:   (1)  Credit
Associates of Maui Memo dated 8/29/2008
                        (2)
Credit Associates of Maui Letter dated 8/29/2008
(3)  A calculator printout and notes on an
envelope received by Credit Associates of Maui
(4)  [redacted] Credit Report dated 4/12/2011
(5)  My Record of Balance

CALCULATION DISCREPANCIES
I received a memo dated 8/29/08 with a balance amount
of $15,597.93 (see attachment 1) and an official letter dated 8/29/08 with a
balance amount of $15,560.01 from Credit Associates of Maui, Ltd (see
attachment 2).  Why would the balance amount be different on the same day?Memo dated
8/29/08 states that $102.00 of post judgment interest has accumulated on my
account.  What is this and why was this charged added?Interest charge listed on 7/29/08 is in the amount of
$1,144.08 (your Complete Transaction History received via Revdex.com).  However, judgement date 8/5/2008 states
interest charge was $2,777.76.  Why are the interest charges different?Interest charge
added on 9/26/08 for the amount of $1,808.43.
What is this and why was this
charged added?INCORRECT BALANCE DUEThe last time this account
was reported was in 2011 with [redacted].
(I pull my free credit reports annually).  The balance reported by Credit Associates of
Maui, Ltd to [redacted] in February 2011 was that balance on this collection
account as $9,918.  Last payment date
reported on this credit report was on 2/14/11 (see attachment 4) which
coincides with payment received on this date on Complete Transaction History
received via Revdex.com on 2/3/16.When I requested a record
of payments received as well as a log of interests assessed toward my account,
I never received anything in the mail except one time.  And this is what it looked like (see
attachment 3).Based on this information,
I calculated my true balance against all payments made and accumulated 10% per
annum interest (see attachment 5). SETTLEMENT OFFERBased on all of the above,
I would like to make a counter offer of $1,450.00 to satisfy this judgement.CREDIT REPORTYour letter dated 2/2/2016
states that all derogatory marks from [redacted] and [redacted] will be
deleted.  However, what about [redacted]?WAGE GARNISHMENTYour letter dated 2/2/2016
states that you will instruct your attorney to have my employer cease
garnishment deductions effective immediately.
I will need a copy of this official letter that will be sent to my
employer with the effective date of 2/2/2016.I will make full payment
on my settlement offer of $1,450.00 when I receive official notice from your
office and/or attorney that wage garnishment has stopped.  I wish not to have any verbal negotiations or
contact with your office.  I request that
everything be made in writing via Revdex.com.

Sincerely,
[redacted]
