The repair was done as the contract states. It was a $500.00 dollar repair not $770.00 3 Sheets of plywood were replaced that were found...

to be rotted after the section of roof was replaced, bringing the total to $660.00 There was also a repair done to the soffit and fascia on another section of the building for $150.00 As it states in contract the flashing was re-installed after shingles were replaced.Ice and water shield was applied. It also states in contract that we will re-install step flashing not to install new flashing. We do not give warranties on repairs nor does is state anything about a warranty in the contract. Warranties are not given anytime we are tying into work done by previous contractors. The repair was done for 8 months before any leaks occurred and it is not clear if the water is coming in from repaired section of roof or from the siding on the chimney or chimney cap. If a repair is done incorrectly it will leak the first time it rains. This repair was done in September and did not have any issues for 8 months. I do not see the issue with caulking anything that could leek. We did attempt to seal the chimney with no additional charge. There was no warranties given on the repair, please review the contract. If a copy of the contract or invoice is needed please contact us and we will provide one. We at Crane Roofing do not wish to do any further work for Mr. [redacted].
