Pulling a permit was never included into the estimate I had providedPulling a permit is an extra costI had told the customer that I would apply for permit if they paid for it
RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11738932,... and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. As stated in my complaint his responsibility as a licensed contractor is to apply for all required permits as required by the appropriate municipality. I was under the assumption that this was done as I hired him as a professional and thought he was a knowledgeable contractor. Upon recent contact with Mr.Zack P [redacted] he stated that he would not do anything unless I withdraw my complaint. I would have gladly withdrawn my complaint AFTER he applied for permit and passed inspecton of the roof but not prior to. He has been unreliable and I do not trust his word. ON 9/28/2016 he originally stated that he would apply for the permit in two weeks as he was out of town. It is now 10/13/2016 and still no confirmation that he is going to fulfill his statement. Since he stated that he was NOT going to do it now unless again I remove my complaint it put me into a position that I had to hire another contractor to get the permit and approved ASAP as this was holding up the sale of my home. My incured additional cost for this was $200 to find and hire a different licensed contractor that would assume responsibility of the work and do any work if not per code even tho they did not do the work. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, Aiste S***
