Get the snake your employee Lou P*** left in our wall on Friday Aug26thLou and Robert returned Monday to try to get the snake out, could not get the job doneRobert told us he would personally call Larry the owner today, which is Monday Aug 29, around 9:amWe never got a call back form anyone at the company and have had to leave several messages over the course of daysThis is a job that your employee started and we are going on day of not having any water, nor will another plumber touch the work you started and have yet to finishThis is totally unprofessionalWe are highly upset and are discussing whether we need to take Citywide to small claims court for leaving this snake in our wall, for nearly days now

City Wide called out to clear a kitchen sink drain on Friday around 3:30 in afternoon, the drain would not clear, the cable got stuck the customer told the plumber to get off the property which we did around 5 PM. He advised the service person he would have another company fix the line as they...

had a gold membership. On Monday we called went back out, after they said it was all right to with the super and original service person to remove the cable. Cable would not come out. They had a broken line when we arrived the first time on Friday, that is why the drain was plugged. They told us they have problems with the drain every year and the old cast iron under the floor is thin. They need to spend more money to fix the problem. Again on Monday the advised us they would get another company to fix it.

Liars, The line was not broken when Lou arrived on Friday, nobody would know that, we have had no cameras down there to confirm that. Since Lou took it upon himself to start work and just put the snake in, it is Citywides responsibility to remove it. We never told them we were having someone else remove it, in fact we told them our other plumber would not remove it and told us it is really Citywides responsibility to take care of their mistake. Robert called me Monday apologizing saying that Lou was not acting professionally. Robert then came out with Lou and they tried all of about 20 min to remove their snake, after their failed attempt, Robert assured us he would call Larry the owner and ask him what to do, that was yesterday at 9:45 am, we have not heard from them since! Robert admitted he had never had this happen, which is why he told us he was calling Larry. We have not heard from them since. Now they send this e-mail with a bunch of lies, Lou was never kicked off our property, he wanted 175.00 because his snake was stuck in our wall, and he wanted to leave, my husband asked him if he had all of his stuff and he said yes and Lou walked away, that was Friday. So why did Robert call me apologizing for Lou's behavior on Monday? this is an outrage!!

In jobs such as this, there are two sides to a story.  We would like to offer our perspective.  City Wide was called out to clear a kitchen sink drain on Friday around 3:30 in afternoon.   The drain would not clear as the cable got stuck.  In offering a solution that required additional time and money the customer told the plumber to get off the property, which we did around 5 PM. At that time the customer advised the service technician he would have another company fix the line as they had a Gold Membership with another plumbing company. In an attempt to retrieve the cable, on Monday we called the customer to obtain permission to return to the property with the supervisor and original service person, the customer agreed. The cable would not come out. The customer had a broken line prior to our arrival the first time on Friday; this is why the drain was plugged. At this time the customer informed us they have problems with the drain every year and they have a company come out and clear the old and thin cast iron line under the floor. This is true of old cast iron pipe.  It will rot away underground over time and needs replacement when this happens.  After an attempt to remove the cable via traditional means was unsuccessful a solution was offered; the customer needs to spend additional money to fix the problem correctly caused by their old, rotting cast iron pipes. The customer advised us again of their Gold Membership and they would utilize their relationship with the other company to get it repaired. It is odd as a customer to have a paid Gold Membership with [redacted] Plumbing but you first call a different company like City Wide Plumbing to clear the drain.  Upon leaving the property Monday, the customer confirmed they would get another company to fix it.
