Windshield cracked after repairs bt Chipfixers, owner denies it is the same chip (there is only one chip in the windshield)
Windshield chipped in August of Last week the chip grew into a crack - 1/way across the windshield Contacted the owner of the company, 1st he said they never crack a year and a half after the repair After inspecting,m he claims it is not the same chip, although there is only one chip in the windshield
the windshield chip repair looked horrible when they finishedIt has now cracked through the entire windshield This is unacceptable
I had a windshield chip repair done back in June, It was about the size of a quarterThe repair looked terrible when the Chipfixer Auto Glass guy repaired itI let them know about it at the time of service, but they said it would be guaranteed for as long as I own the vehicleThey said the fix is NOT cosmeticOk - I understand that, but it was very noticeable - Now, today is November 7, The crack that was repaired has now spread across both the dirver's side and the passenger sideI was told they will only credit back the cost of the repair towards a replacement windowI would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! Please do not get your chipped windshield done from this company
