Review: They gave us a quote for repaving our driveway
First they agreed to a price and signed a contract. They collected $500 in deposit.
Then they reneged on the contract and quoted a higher price (gave multiple reasons), at which point I wasnt interested in doing business with them.
They took more than a month to return my deposit, but once they did, their check issued to me bounces.
I just called the owner to inform them of this issue and they suggest I wait (and offer me no timeframe by which this will be rectified)Desired Settlement: Please refund my check of $500 ASAP.

I am rejecting this response because:
They have been in the "process" of returning my $500 for months. An exact date by which the check or cash will be received will be helpful.

C&G Pavers & Concrete, LLC replaced my 35 year old driveway and did a very professional job. First, the concrete apron at the garage was replaced with 4000 psi concrete. A few days later the old driveway was completely removed down to the original base.
As the area has a high clay content they put down 6 inches of additional base of stones and crushed concrete and compacted the base with a roller and a flat plate compacter in tight places. Two days later they paved the driveway. First a 3 inch layer of stabilizing base course was applied, rolled and compacted to assure the drainage would meet my requirements. Then the final 3 inch layer of hot mix asphalt (F.A.B.C Design Mix 1 -5) as specified.
