First order was incomplete, said they were out of stock..after purchase, tried another order and that too was cancelled, aftyer purchase. Either website is not being maintained, or they are just incompetant overall. Either way I will never do business with them again. If you want it when you need it I would not recommend this business.

Carparts.com has an option to use amazon pay. which is what I used to pay for the part I needed for my car. I realized that through to automated system amazon mixed addresses. I sent an email to the email account sent on the email with an invoice. This email allegedly to send any changes. notifying about address being put wrongly on the automated system. I called the following business day and requested it be changed or canceled. Carparts stated they will fully refund in two days but it has been 10 days and no refund. I bet they are scamming many using this amazon system. I never have problems with amazon and suddenly use carparts and problems. It is a shame because I have time but others don't. I want a full refund and investigation of this system.

I recently bought lower ball joints from car parts.com. I had them installed and then shortly after, a ball joint popped out therefore ripping the cv axle out of my transmission. It was towed to the *** certified mechanic who installed them and he found out that day that the cause was a faulty bolt that was sent with the ball joints. I had to pay over $300 in damage due to carparts.com faulty retaining bolt sent with the ball joints. I have demanded they pay the damages but nothing has been done.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because on 3/2/2020 the email that carparts.com requested was sent on the very same day at 7:16 pm. Above is an attached picture of the date and time the email was sent from myself to carports.com.The emails of the individuals I came in contact with are listed in the above attachments as well. I have also previously contacted this company on multiple occasions speaking to individuals by the name of ***, ***, and *** with badge number 886. On the night the email was sent I was told to expect a response within 24 to 48 hours, as well as on another occasion but have yet to receive a response. You’re time and consideration on this will be and is greatly appreciated. Due to your email format I am unable to send the attached photos of the email. I would be very happy to email them to you directly.
Sincerely

Shocking shipping deception. Had an urgent need to replace a damaged mirror that was hit by some ***.

Told Wednesday arrival, then as soon as I order, thy say sat. Now sat and some nonsense about the post office having to deliver after fed ex had a tracking and delivery date on site for sat.

Such BS. Shame on you carparts.com. No way to run a business.

Carparts sent wrong part. Need to return this part. They don't ad shipping cost to get it to me. Also I have to pay shipping back. Second time this happened to me at this company.

Dear ***,
I am very sorry for challenges you have had in receiving the incorrect part.
There is no need to return this item, please dispose of as you see fit, you will be issued credit in full.
If you need further assistance, please contact me directly,
Donna J Accounts Receivable Manager.

While on the phone with the sales rep he unnecessarily dragged out the process to the point that he knew I was getting irritated and continued to ask questions that were redundant. I had already given my credit card number and it went through and he still was asking questions about the parts which is how I then knew he was being funny. So needless to say I said something to him. From what I know of sales and *** you close the sale quickly and courteously but he was being funny. Nonetheless after my order was placed I noticed there was no tracking number so I called three times on three different days about a tracking number that they assured me would come. Finally my last call they figured out that somehow something happened and my order didnt go through but we all know why the sales rep never sent it through because I called him out about wasting my time. Now im.waoting for them to send me a confirmation about refumsing my money when they didnt have to wait to get it. Never again buy from rocauto. Have a sales script and a short one for you sales reps and let them know that after the sale is complete there is no reason to continue to ask questions the sale is closed. You can ask do the customer need anymore assistance but no need for other questions.

I ordered a part online and payed for 2 day shipping based on the delivery date they provided. On my confirmation email they changed the delivery date to 5 days later. I feel that I was mislead and I have still not recieved a reply to my phone calls or emails. My 2 day shipping was during the week so no excuses about weekend not being a working day.

This company will give you the run around if you try to return or have an item replaced that comes in damaged, I recommend no one to use them.

When I was trying to find parts for my car, they had them. However, they overcharged, and originally sent the wrong parts. They separated the original payment that they had taken out of my checking account and charged me TWICE. I had to call my bank and have them removed the two additional charges as fraud charges because they put my bank account in the negative for their own selfish gain so they could get more money out of me. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

So I placed an order on a Saturday and paid an extra $30 for two day shipping. It’s been 4 days and my part might be delivered today. They claim that weekend orders don’t get processed till Monday. Then the actual two day window begins on Tuesday. So therefore Thursday I should how’ve my part. What the heck?!?!? I would’ve gotten it by that time without paying the extra $30. I called and complained. They are giveing me a rebate of $10. But I’m still not pleased. No where when I was placing my order said it would take this long for my part. Customer service informed me I should’ve checked under their shipping and handeling policy it’s in there. Yeah, just not anywhere close to where you check out and given the option for two day shipping. Do not pay extra for their “speedy” deliver services. You will get your product in the same amount of time with out dishing out the extra money. Ugh!!!!

We do apologize for the misunderstanding. there was a huge delay in responding to this. given that, Credit to you will be issued in full.

I was having a hard time finding a Fender Trim - Rear, Driver Side, front section for our Highlander. So instead of ordering online, called and told a woman what I needed. She showed me the part and it looked wrong and I told her that. She insisted it was right and said "TRUST ME". Alright, I did. It was indeed wrong. Contacted them about the return and after an hour in a chat session and all that we went through sending photos and explaining their rep insisted this was correct (asking them to pull the tape) they offered me a mere $3.56 discount. There is a 2.11 charge for the box and 10.95 shipping. I expressed my dismay and Mabel just kept saying she understands, best they can do. I argued another 30 minutes that they need to resend with free shipping and take away the box charge and I was denied. After an hour and 25 minutes to fix their mistake, I was awarded a whole entire 7.00 for my troubles. And they made me pay the entire amount with those charges before they would send an email to refund? Very sketchy. Buyer beware.

BEWARE FRAUDULENT COMPANY*** They are very sketchy! I ordered a part for my car which was less than $30 (after shipping and handling) and they called me saying this was carparts.com and we need to verify your order. I thought this was okay, but weird for what was being ordered. I read them my order number and they were able to repeat my information back to me... but this is where it gets sketchy. He asked who my phone was registered to and who my house was registered to. I don't know what kind of verification this is, but for less than $30 this is over the top and sketchy. He told me my phone plan was not registered to me and who was it registered to. He then asked was my residence a house or an apartment and told me my residence was not registered to me and who was it registered to. I am registered to those things. This is when I realized he was tricking information out of me. I told him he was being extremely sketchy and to immediately cancel my order and that I was reporting the charge to my bank. He laughed and said "okay" and that is when I hung up. Please beware and be safe on the internet! This company can not be trusted. I feel as if they were planning to steal my identity or rob my house. As of right now the bank is investigating.
