ask what type of brake pads were on the car only because that the parts themselves would carry a warranty. The service advisor told me they were parts that were purchased from [redacted] auto parts . I then ask the service advisor to simply call the local [redacted] store to see if they would pay for the repair since their parts do carry a nationwide warranty. I am rejecting this response because: I contacted the dealership and was told they could not help me in my situation. Therefore I feel they have failed to take care of me. Customer bought vehicle 11/26/14. On July 7th 2015 customer brought car to us with an oil consumption problem, we did test on...

vehicle as described as per instruction from the manufacture (Chrysler). after the test it was decided that the engine needs replacement. We then ordered the replacement parts and replaced the engine. the repair took approximately 30 days to complete. The customer was allowed to drive a loaner vehicle during the time their car was in the shop. Customer was notified on August 7th 2015 that the vehicle was ready for pick up.
Customer then brought vehicle back on august 25 2015 stating that the vehicle was shifting hard and also at random the dash lights go out. we put customer in a loaner car that day and proceeded with repairs. we ran the test as described by the manufacture, we found no issue with vehicle. we road test car for 21 miles and still found no issue at that time. then called customer and advised of the situation, they returned august 31 2015 to pick up their car. Note, customer did bring vehicle in on 5/6/15, car was 3 quarts low on oil and customer declined letting us change the oil and filter, we did top off the oil level and customer paid a total of $29.09 for the oil that day.

In response to complaint. Customer brought truck in on January 18 2017 with a complaint of heater not getting hot. upon inspection we found that the coolant level was low which was the cause of the no heat concern. Customer agreed to pay a diagnostic fee of $52.50.Customer brought truck back on...

February 1 2017 with similar concern, we ran diagnostic check and found the water pump was leaking. We replaced the water pump under the FCA powertrain warranty at no cost to the customer.Customer brought truck back again on February 10 2017 with two concerns, first concern was again no heat and also a Check engine light is on. Upon diagnostic test we found a small air pocket in the cooling system, so we had to bleed the air pocket out of the cooling system and there was no charge for the repair. We then ran diagnostic test for the Check engine light, it shows a defective crankcase vent sensor we then called into their warranty company and found out it was not a covered repair under the contract they had purchased from the selling their selling dealer. We didn't sell the truck or the service contract. We advised the customer that due to the part not being covered under their contract the would be responsible for the cost of the repair. they declined the repair and were charged the diagnostic fee.
