Review: I had California Steemers come to my house to clean my carpet. If I would have known that they were going to use my water and electricity, I would not have them clean my carpet. The owner took it upon himself to plug into three or four outlet in my home without my permission. Can you imagine how many homes this company has gone in and use someone's watts because they don't have a generator. So if you have this company come to your home make sure that they have their generator. It took them an hour and a half to clean my carpet, with my electricity that I have to pay plus water.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to pay for the electricity the used in my home, plus water. That will be $30.00.

Response:
1. our company use highly powered machines that need to be plugged in the customer house.
2. in order to perform the cleaning we have to put water in our machine
3. that is the first time somebody has a problem with that issue.
4.the customer were there the whole entire time she could just say that she is not interested and call someone else.
5 California Steemers cleaning hundreds of residential homes the same way we cleaning miss [redacted] house.. there is absolutely nothing wrong with our equipments or the way we are cleaning carpets.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9699361, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[First, he did not indicate if he could use my energy in my home, like I said, he when ahead and started plugging his equipments in my home. That is not business like, and have no professionalism to have respect for the owners of the home. He advertised to $49.00 to have carpet clean, never once mentioned that he would be utilizing my energy or water. So, I feel that it was fault advertisement to the customer not indicating that he would be using anything in the home. I feel that he owes me for my electricity and water. How many homes has he used their energy or water to save himself some bucks. I want to be paid back for usage of my energy and water! It is not my problem that he can't afford a generator, he shouldn't be in business!]
