Worst experience of our lives- Started the project before we even signed- Came home to a tore up yard and pool-
Delays and the lies! These guys could not open their mouths without lying- it was so bad- We caught them in so many lies!
There were days when no one would show for work.
55 days over the completion date
Finally the biggest insult to our intelligence- we agreed to a rate and term for the project and they did the bait and switch at the end. We refused to sign
these is are rude and obnoxious. They have hired telemarketers that are nasty, mean, rude, and insensitive. Not a good way to do business
We never had a market interaction with the customer - thus we cannot verify the name of the customer in our system.
You can let us know how may we help you at ***@gmail.com
these guys are doing business as if they are affiliated with the state. Someone needs to stop them. They are frauds!
I had to constantly to call them for my roof warranty,it was supposed to be for 30 years, and they sent me one for 12 months
Hello. You both have a 30-year warranty for the roofing materials and you have a YEAR (12mo) of labor warranty from us. Let us know if you need any help/clarifications. We're here to help! Reach us at ***@gmail.com
We had some issues on some leaks on the roof and the AC in the house, its getting pretty humid already and we had David come over to our house. The job was done in 2 weeks. As just we expected, we are very busy and this project needs to get the job done fast. THANK YOU!!! We would highly recommend.
Thanks! We appreciate your business.
On February 15, 2019 *** representing *** First Remodeling, visited our home in reference to a phone appointment set up to provide an estimate for external repair and paint work. This was done in response to a telemarketing call from an 877 area-coded phone number with a 'City of *** caller ID.*** was amiable and attentive as we walked around the outside of my house and discussed the work that needed to be done to get it back in shape. His original estimate was significantly lower than an estimate I'd received from another contractor who'd basically offered to perform the same work. When we sat down and began to discuss specifics, *** introduced Synchrony Bank as a possible source for a personal loan to help finance the project. He asked me to sign a form which would give permission for them to run a 'soft check? on my credit rating. He called someone on his cell phone who approved me for a loan of *** in less than five minutes. This figure was roughly *** over his estimate. In addition, Synchrony would give me the funds interest-free if I payed them back in 18 months. If it took longer, I'd be paying a 7% interest charge in addition to whatever interest I'd be paying for the loan itself. When I rejected that idea outright, *** offered to lower his estimate by another $1,000 plus, the amount the additional 7% interest charge would incur. He did this without my asking. I told him that I would finance the project by other means. He said fine, and put the Synchrony papers away.*** pushed for me to get the work done sooner than later. He was anxious to get started as soon as possible. He even offered to knock off another $1,000 if I agreed to start work the following week. He said that his company was starting work on a house not far from ours on Monday, February 18, and that it would save them money if they could do work on both our houses simultaneously. I rejected his offer. He appeared adamant that *** First finish work ASAP. His contractor license expires in ***.David wrote his final estimate on an 'Additional Description Form? with a yellow and pink carbon copy attached. He asked if he needed to write down specific costs of detailed repairs, and I said no. He wrote my name, address and phone numbers; his $15,500 reduced estimate; and his phone number on the top copy. He did not date it, he didn't sign it. And he didn't take a copy with him. This morning, February 18, my partner received a phone call from a 714 area code. The caller identified herself as an employee of *** First Remodeling and wanted us to know that ***'s estimate was good for 12 months. Despite my partner's repeated statements that we did not want to have anything to do with her company, the representative continued to speak about the 12-month tenure of the estimate. She also offered to drop the price another $1,000.I believe there's something fishy about a company that uses a boiler room telemarketing system at a spoofed phone number to generate business, lists its office phone on a different number, and then issues a follow up call on another spoofed phone line. In addition, I don't believe this company had my best interests at heart when it made a financing offer from a bank I've never heard of such an integral part of our agreement. ***'s continued unprovoked offers to reduce his price, as well as his demonstrably low original estimate, are suspicious. Even though I said an itemized list of costs wasn't necessary, his final written 'estimate? is grossly inadequate. And the fact that he didn't take a copy with him raises concerns. While *** and *** First *** not have done anything illegal, I believe they need to be checked out thoroughly. Please examine their operations and let me know what you think. I'm willing to speak with anyone about any aspect of my brief encounter with David and *** First if you need more information.

Other (requires explanation) If this business operates legitimately, fine. Otherwise, close it down.
We've tried to reach out the customer but there's no response. We want to have the complaint cleared and we want to know more as well with what happened
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I'm not aware of any attempt by the business to contact me by phone. They did send an email a week or so ago in which they said they'd be contacting me directly to learn more about the problem. I'm still waiting for that contact.
We can only contact the customer via email since there is no phone number provided. We tried emailing them and they did not respond, in that way we can't get in touch with them if they don't give us more details about what happened. Also, We would like to further investigate about what happened because we see on the complaint that there is no sale involved, i.e the customer did not come into a legal agreement about the business. The only way we can offer with the settlement here is by starting to know more in detail with what happened, and get suggestions on how to make things better, which we'll be gladly listen to by the consumer's point of view.
Attached is the email copy sent to the customer.
False and deceptive telemarketing practices. Uses fake company names to secure appointments. Calls people on the national Do-Not-Call list.
This is now the at least the SECOND time this company has hidden their true identity during sales calls. We got a telemarketing call from a "local contractor" on behalf of California First Remodeling and they refused to give their real company name on the call. During the call they called themselves Target Home Services, Target Home Design, and Home Builders. I said if the name of the company is different when you get out here, you're not coming in my house. They agreed and said they carry credentials and would show them at the door. When "Target Home Design" showed up, they introduced themselves as California First Remodeling. I asked for a business card and said I do not let people in without identification. The person refused to show any identification whatsoever and said I would get it at the end. I insisted he show identification and he chose to leave. The police department ran the license plate of his vehicle and it came back a rental car. We need some work done on our home and were willing to invite out honest companies to quote the work. At least twice, California First Remodeling has telemarketed our house using fake company names before showing up. I assume they use different names because they know they are violating the national Do-Not-Call list which we are on.
Stop advertising yourself as other companies. Give business cards or other physical identifying information to consumers when you come to their home.

Had to have people come back several times to fix problems. Finally had to hire another contractor to seal & calk shower tile to wall joint, Complete floor tile next to new door frame and fill in door frame to wall space. Yes we did sign off on the project with the agreement that the items would be completed. Caution: Do not pay or sign off anything until you 100 percent satisfied. Have an expert check completed work.
I am very sorry for your dissatisfaction with the services performed and the amount of time that it took. If there is anything I can do to help please feel free to reach out to me directly or thru Revdex.com. We're here to help you reach the satisfaction to the work that has been done. Hope we hear from you soon and we thank you for your business.
WELL DONE JOB. It was really scary to remodel house. Like is it going to take too long, is it gonna be uncomfortable for me or is it gonna be too expensive and I wont afford it. They made it possible for me to be able to step out of my comfort zone and do what frightens me - now what I feel and see is priceless. Its beyond words can express for the gratuity I feel for the comfort in my house. They made it livable and in a very nice condition. I would definitely recommend them.
thank you for trusting us! we want you to have your home to be very comfortable for you and your family to enjoy!
Wonderful job done at my property. I've got 3 estimates from different contractors but decided to go to this company because they've given me a breakdown from the cost, the project managers are reachable - or if they're not available they have so called helper for the project that always picks up my calls. Guided me thru the choosing process and all of them. Thank you so much!

So someone went to my house for my free estimate. They inspected my floors (because I want to do this project for now), and its really old house and they even inspected some of the house as well that needs updating. They gave me an estimate, said its going to be like 2-3 weeks project. and they did it. I was impressed with all the efforts they have put in my house. My project manager was literally a phone call away and there are helpers too. Sooner or later i'll decide to do the rest of my house, and im sticking with this company.Thank you guys.
Take advantage of their free estimate people.
Thank you so much!
GOD BLESS YOU GUYS! it was a hot LA summer and our AC has not been working properly since the summer started. I jump and jump from every other contractor to fix my AC. some of them can't inspect my house without paying them first and having me to sing a contract. I was so disappointed and exhausted to find a good company to fix this. not until one of my friend gave me this referral and I called them, schedule an appointment, and did my estimate free! now I dont have to summer the hot summer days ahead... thank you!
Thank you! Appreciate your trust with us.
I wish I could post a photo in here on how fantastic their job was at my house. I did a total remodel on my house, interior paint, exterior paint and I changed my carpet and they restored this beautiful wood floor on my house.. i've been this house long enough not knowing that I had these beautfiul floors and I didnt really need to cover them up. next thing I know is that now, I look forward to going home and cook on my kitchen.. ive been so inspired to go home everyday and go home with my family.. it feels like this whole house has been turned upside down, I cant thank you guys enough
THANK YOU! We appreciate your business with us and we are glad you are happy with the project!
From all I can tell, the important thing working with them is communication... They really helped me choosing a type of paint for my house and what shade to apply. Tried a lot of them, and their painters are very good too, they're very patient just have open communication on which one you like and which one you dont prefer. Thank you.
Thank you, Robert! We appreciate your business.
THEY ARE SO VERY ACCOMMODATING! as a first timer, I am doing my house remodeling and I am so nervous about fees, how my house will look like, and if i'm going to like it or not! I really admire their perseverance on this project. I AM SO GLAD I TOOK THE RISK! I LOVE THE RESULTS SO MUCH!
Thank you for the appreciation, we thank you as well for taking the risk and we are glad that you loved the result.
I LOVED MY HOUSE! at first I thought I couldn't afford a remodeling, I was so scared to do it, but they guide me through it and made sure it fit into my financial needs, but the work looks so fabulous! All you really have to do is just trust your workers. They will help you with decisions, colors, and they inspect my house for the possible hazards you can find at home. I really cant thank you guys enough and this is the best thing I can do for you, I recommend it to my friends and family also!
Thank you! We appreciate your business with us. If ever you need us we will always be a call away!
