C & D Construction and Home Repair

[redacted], dba C&D Construction is an unlicensed individual posing as a licensed contractor. He he has never had any license other a City of Fresno handyman license, which expired in September 2012 three months before he solicited our business by posing as a licensed contractor.Mr. [redacted] performed shoddy and defective work, during our remodeling, and has refused to accept responsibility. He has refused to accept our certified letter demanding restitution. He simply ignores the issue.In addition Mr. [redacted], even though he had up to five workers on our job site, never had workers' compensation insurance. He thus exposed not only himself but also exposed us, as homeowners, to liability if one of his workers had been injured.In addition Mr. [redacted] does not have liability insurance or a performance bond. Mr. [redacted] is falsely posing as a licensed contractor and is illegally uninsured.
