Did not provide service to build a building after paying for the service. Took over 6 weeks to show and still did not have all material [redacted] the owner of * &** builders, would not deliver my material after 6 wk had passed. When he did start His work was unsatisfactorily. I kept asking for an itemized list of material based on the amount I gave him. he kept refusing and after the 3rd time he left. I had to get a lawyer to get some of my material. Below is my explanation to[redacted] to what I felt I should get back.This was done at the lawyer request Back in April, I came to you about re-construction this building that I had taken down, you along with your Son [redacted] came out and looked at it. At that time you saw no problem with the material.Prior to starting the building you came out with your crew and separated all the metal and material for staging Mr. [redacted] somehow there is some confusion in your response to Mr.[redacted].. At that time you still did not see a problem with the material. On several occasions I commented about some of the truss that had gotten damaged when the building was taken down. Again you saw no problem, you also said to put plywood on the ends where it was split. I had previously installed partial board but you said that was ok. The poles, yes there was some type of damage but your suggestion was to cut that out and use them elsewhere in the building.I took vacation Aug 10-16; I wanted to be there to make sure the forklift would be available. The contract stated I would provide it for 2 days. Construction started the 7th of Aug. The 13th I had to operate the lift because you had no one there that knew how, that one day all that was accomplished was the hanging of one truss. When [redacted] worked the lift, I had to assist because you still did not have enough personnel, just [redacted] and [redacted]. While they were hanging the 2nd truss in position, they failed to tie it off. That is how it got brokenYou like using the word a safety a lot; you have never had more than 3 people on the job at one time trying to handle a 60 ft. trusses 20 plus feet in the air. When questioned about the $10.663.00 and wanting an itemized list of materials. That is when you went into the unsafe mod, saying everything is rotten, twisted, warped, patched or coming apart.You claim that the lumber was over $2200.00, my wife and I counted 175 boards, at 7.50 -8.50 Ea. I am looking at XX - XXXX.00.For over a month you said the metal was on order (I first met you, you [redacted] to own a metal business) the metal arrived on my property after you received Mr.[redacted] letter.Roof sheeting, along with trim and attaching screws. I will agree with the $ 5503.00Lumber 175 counts 2x6 10/12, I do not see 5060.00. I will go with $2000.00We agreed on 5500.00 to build this building in 2 phases at $2750.00 due at each phase.Even thou the building is not built, just half framed with no roof, I will agree to give you half of the first phase $ 1375. 00 (No charge for the broken truss or my 2 days labor)You subtract the above from $10.663.00. I will agree on the return amount of $1.785.00I called you on the advice of my lawyer I left a message but have yet to receive a response. [redacted] suggested that I try to resolve this with a letter, before we proceed on with the lawsuit. If you disagree on this amount then I will proceed on with the lawsuit. I feel that I cannot trust you to finish this building safely and in a timely manner. I would like to resolve this as quickly as possible. I do not want to get into he said or you said. That is what the courts are far. Please contact myself or my lawyer within 7 business days after the date of this letter...Desired SettlementAs the above complaint stated I would agree on 1785.00.This amount would be in B & D builders favor. As of 9/10/2014 the date of the letter I have not heard nothing from this company or[redacted]. Getting the money would be nice, but most of all I want people to know that this is not a reputable company.... I might add that they installed a metal roof on my house. we had a 5-6 wk dry spell. When we got that large rain that flooded a lot of [redacted], I had a large leak around the fireplace. At that time he said he would fix it. The next day he left. refuses to answer any calls or answer to the lawyer. It is not worth suing this man. Like my lawyer said he has no money, and he would just change the name and go back into the business under a different name. Company's of this time has to get other jobs, to pay for the job they have already been payed a deposit. Eventual the pyramid collapse .

C & B did an overhead parking for my house and did a fantastic job. Provided a signed estimate, contract stating exactly what we had agreed upon with a scaled sketch of the structure. The crew was very courteous and cleaned up every day. The weather was the main factor in delays, but once it cleared up (it was still very cold) the job was done in a timely manner and I am loving my covered parking; have received many, many compliments. C&B Builders gave me a 1 year warranty in which they have refused to come out and fix several problems at my home.In April of 2015, I contacted [redacted] about putting a new metal roof on my home. The work was completed and I was informed that I had a 1 year warranty on labor. In June I noticed a small piece of gable trim that had a gap in it. I notified the company and they said they would be more than happy to repair the problem. In August, the owner had a death in the family so I waited until September to contact them again to repair the gable trim. I spoke with [redacted] and he told me that I did indeed have the 1 year warranty and they would fix the problem. I have waited and I want the problem fixed.Desired SettlementI would like the company to refund me $200.00 so that I can hire someone else to come out and fix the problem.
