Hello.I'm *** I bought franchise *** It didn't work and I signed cancellation agreement to get my refund on 02/20/20.which I didn't get yet.
I bought the franchise 04/02/19. It didn't work and I suppose to get my refund on 02/20/20. But *** didn't respect that. Before I pay the franchise fee I requested addendum letter indicating if I can't secure fund for new restaurant that I'll get my hard money back. Which I didn't get it. My family and I went through a lot to get it back. I'm ready to fight back to get my hard money. Please I really need your help.

An employee hit my car with the dumpster door. I spoke to the owner*** who is not giving me insurance info or talking to my insurance co.
July 8, 2020 around 3:45 PM an employee opened the dumpster door and hit my car. My 3 boys and I were in the car. An employee brought me inside and called the owner who told me he would follow up with insurance. He has not answered or responded to my insurance or my calls and I need my car fixed. I have children with special needs and my car is essential for their care.

All I need is the store's insurance information to handle the situation. The store is Burgerim in San Pablo, Ca and the owner is Muhammad Uzman. I need the store owner or associates to call me or my insurance back.

BurgerIM's *** promised us to resolve issue by returning our money back because we have not signed the contract yet and by law they suppose to return money which was deposited via wire in their corporate account ; but unfortunately they want to keep our hard earned money , we are going through hardship And feeding my family using credits cards and I am In debts I don't have money to pay my mortgage anymore and if I don't pay mortgage next month we may go through deep trouble .

Cashier took my order for a $15 dollar burger which came with lettuce,tomatoes, onion,American cheese etc. I told the cashier I wanted swiss cheese instead of American and to add egg. I ordered to go so I did not check my food until I got home only to open my burger to see that it was just the patty egg and cheese!!! $15 dollars'?!! When I called the store the manager told me she'd a box with only the toppings because my 6 year was hungry and still wanted to eat. So what was I supposed to eat the toppings? She told me there was nothing more she could do because my child ate a couple bites of the patty .

Refund Refund or replace the burger for what I ordered. We're vegetarians so its pricey to eat out sometimes I would never pay 15 for a burger that I wouldn't eat.

I was promised a refund of the Franchise Fee when they were unable to execute on their promise for my restaurant, and have still not received any $$
We signed the Franchise Agreement at the end of February in 2018. When after a year (which in the agreement said 6 months), were unable to provide and find funding for the execution of the restaurant and/or a suitable property they would be willing to accept. Communication was made, and was told I would be receiving my amount of *** back to me, and still have not received it. I have sent multiple emails and made several calls, voicemail is full, and all of the emails are bouncing back. I just need that money back, it is a lot for me and my family to lose.

I am seeking a full refund of *** as promised when the Franchise Agreement was signed (there was a witness with me that can vouch) and that it was not only verbally said, but is written and signed in the agreement.

How can I get in touch with someone who have their money taken by Burgerim , just like myself? We all need to get together..this is so wrong. They took my money in 2018 and promise me to get my money back. I even sign a cancellation contract..I spoke to a ***. All see did was lie to me. This is not fair. The last update that I received from the company was from their cancellations department via email on 10/28/2019 stating that my check will be sent out no later than 12/11/19 but upto now nothing has came and I couldn't get a hold of anyone from their office. I also found out that they moved their headquarter to another location and changed their phone #. The emails that I've been trying to send to them does not go through anymore either.

My partner and I canceled the franchise on 6/28/2019, the agreement was that BurgerIM was to refund $*** in consideration of the cancellation.
The agreement was signed by *** (President) and ***/*** We were promised a refund within 120 business days but no one has ever contacted us and we have tried numerous times to call and email BurgerIM. I finally did some research and realized that the company is restructuring. Please advise us on what the next steps are in order for us to recoup our money. I am pretty upset about the whole ordeal and my partner and I are in heavy debt because of the promises made by BurgerIM initially.

Burgerim refused to mail my refund of the franchise fee even after I signed cancellation about 6 months ago. They are not responding to my messages.
My refund was due on 12/11/19 according to the cancellation agreement. I have made several attempts to contact the company over the phone , email and mailed several letters into the office to check on the status of my refund but they have refused to respond or answer my inquiries. I just want my refund back .

We have paid the Franchisee Fee in March 2019, Burgerim CEO Oreni *** agreed on the phone during our initial call that if we couldn't find a potential location to open the restaurant in 6months that they would return the franchisee fee. Not only we didn't find a good location, but their food costs were also high which they didn't mention in the FDD. Now, none of the email id's of burgerim corporate representatives are working, if I send an email to the VP of franchisee relations or cancellations department with domains names @iburgerim or @burgerim, the email's are bouncing and apparently there is no way of contacting them. They are gone.

I and my other partners are happy to join with anyone who is in the same boat as us to fight against Burgerim and get our hard-earned money back.

Burgerim Group USA inc is insolvent with over 80 lawsuits and owes hundreds of Franchisees their fee they paid. It is reported that over 1200 licenses have been sold. In June *** formed another company Burgerim Group, Inc and illegally transfered the rights to rebates and royalities to this new company. Michel *** is the CEO but that is an alias. They are still selling Franchisees to unexpecting people. Report this to the FTC, call your Senators, call the Attorney General make these people stop and pay for their illegal crimes. Cheryl *** who does the "financing" has pled guilty to running a ponzi scheme. Between ***, Juan ***, Tom ***, Liz ***, Michel *** (alias), Cheryl*** they have bankrupt and caused harm to hundreds and hundreds of people and Maryland is the only State that has shut them down. Please do your part and report this illegal activity.

We Became Burgerim Franchisee in 09-17-18. After spending alot of Money. Burgerim disappeared. couldn't find any Help and information. made us Quit.
We Became Burgerim franchisee in 09-17-18. Drove 400miles to pay *** fee. Burgerim owner told us that we will make *** profit every month. Made us hand him our very very hard money. My Father is a Cab driver and I worked as gas station clerk my whole life just image how hard was our ***. after that we started to find location for burgerim restaurant. finally after 6months we found 1 prime location but it was under construction. And *** refunded to give us that location because he had no confidence on Burgerim but after noticed our excitement and hard work *** agreed to give us that spot. we signed leased for 10years on August-15-2019. we paid *** for 1st month and security rent to . after that we started working on plans Cost us ***. also we Spent money on lease review, Insurance, permits, and loans. cost us *** plus. After all this we started to find a Contractor. After Finding Contractor we paid him *** as down payment. we had no idea about burgerim office issues. on a same day I wanted to inform Burgerim that we ve reached to construction phase now and we are very close now. But when I Called Burgerim all #s were dead made many emails to different people all emails came back. I lost my complete balance. I started to think about life savings spent on burgerim. I checked online if their is any different #s or emails but found something else on internet that burgerim is about files bankruptcy. now I start thinking who will help us on training, pos, food info, ordering most importantly help on how to build a restaurant with there model. But after discovery about there bankruptcy All we see was darkness. I requested contractor to return my *** and told him to letme find out burgerim issues. contractor returned me ***. I tried every one in burgerim but no luck. I lost my body weight in just few days. After attempting very hard unsuccessfull tries to contact with burgerim we requested city to stop on permits. city said they have to keep my permit fees, *** recoverd there *** from me, Landlord kept my two months rent in order to terminate my lease. we were force to stop everything because burgerim had no active contact and no one informed us any thing about burgerim situation. we were thinking how we can pay rent, how we can pay insurance, how we can build a restaurant about any burgerim info after thinking all this we thought it's better to leave now before it hurt us more plus we went to other near locations all were shut down. one day contractor called me and he said he found x employee of burgerim. x employee gave us one # that was risk management guy. when I talked him he was very rude and disrespectful. first we lost our life savings money second they have no respect for us. we had and have no way to go. please give us our spent on burgerim money back. so we can live back normal life again. our 70% savings are gone. please please please refund us our money asap.

Fraudulent scam of money and providing false claim regarding services provided.
Was introduced to BurgerIM in January of 2019. Met with a representative who "sold" the business to us through a mini interview. Prior to the meeting and after the meeting, I did due diligence and reviewed online information about this company to ensure the legitimacy of the business and prior histories. Every information seemed to have a positive review; this business also is registered with FTB and Revdex.com. We invested $***(Fifty thousand dollars) which was wired through a local bank. The Franchise that we paid for was not forth coming and we started to notice some inconsistencies and discrepancies. There was not much effort on the part of this company and its "employees" in providing help or assistance to set up a Restaurant as they initially claimed. They frequently changed email addresses and never updated or informed the Franshisees. In the middle of 2019, around June, we requested for our requent . We signed a cancellation document to that effect. We asked for our money back ASAP especially as we had a family emergency that required money, we were told that we have to wait for 120 working days which should be up in December 2019. So we waited. In November of 2019, we contacted the staff, after several trials and emails and being provided with new numbers, we were told that the company does not have money and that we will not be receiving our money any time soon. We contacted *** who is the Owner of BurgerIM and he said there is no money. He scheduled to meet up with I and my Husband. He missed the first appointment. He swore on his 2 daughter that he will give us our refund . We met with him the next day. He went into one of the rooms in the office suite with company checks scattered all over the floor carelessly, picked up one of those checks and requested that I endorse and sign the check myself. I looked bewildered and refused. He signed the first checked and deliberately spelled everything wrong including the amount in words. I asked him to rewrite the check. He did do. Post Dated the Check. I went to attempt to cash the check several occassions at *** and was informed that there was insufficient funds to cover the check. I also deposited the check into my acount and it was returned uncashed; I was charged for the returned check. I attempted to call and text *** but my number was blocked. I had noone else to contact as all prior working number were no longer going through and/calls were never returned. I attempted to request funds re-call from my Bank for my initial deposit to BurgerIm into their *** Bank account but was informed by my Bank(*** that the said *** account has been closed. I am very confused, and feel very helpless and hopeless. I was scammed out of our money. I was informed that *** has skipped town to go back to Isreal. And was also informed that this is his second business that has defrauded innocent consumers out of their monies. I have documents and proofs that I can send for further investigation. My email is ***. I only want my money back and for these people not to be given another chance to defraud innocent citizens who only want to improve their financial situation.

I am requesting to be paid back *** that was promised to me for a refund of the license free in 6/2019.
I signed up for two licenses with bergerim and canceled both licenses. I pain *** for the two licenses but I have only been paid back ***. I paid franchise fee on 09/24/2019. They failed to provide me loan, and not responding to me for two months. I need my Franchise fee back.
I started new franchisee process in August 2019. After online interviews I was told that I am eligible to have BurgerIM franchise and should submit the franchise fee. I paid the franchise fee by wire transfer on 09/24/2019. Started financing application process After a week, and I was told by their loan department that because I have some credit card bills, my loan application will not be approved. I told them that whatever the savings I had, spent in paying franchise fee, but *** will try my best to acquire some loan from any friend or family. I tried and couldn't find any money so I contacted BurgerIM and told them I can't find any more money and would consider to back off from my application, they sent me email address of cancellation department. I contacted cancellation department in Second week of November, and never got any response from them yet. I have trying to call their phone numbers, first no one picked up the phone, and now their phone lines are disconnected. I am an Uber driver, father of three kids and this money I paid to BurgerIM is my and my wife's all life saving.

I have been trying to contact them, but no one answers the phone or replies to emails. So I am still in same situation.

This is the worse feeling ! We are going through hard times and they do not consider this. We called in December and all ten phones were disconnected and emails bounced back.

Paid the franchise fee of *** to this company on 12/3 and a month later no one answers the phone. Its like fraud to me.
On 12/3/2019 paid a Franchise fee of *** and all seem good. Found out a month later on 1/3/2020 that they were considering bankruptcy and one lending company that I contacted told me the news about it and said they are not going to fund any Burgerim franchises. The funding people that Burgerim initially sent me to never contacted me on funding after I reached out to them and sent documents into them, then never could get a response back. So, if I can't get funded because of their financial situation and no fault of my own, this is like a breach of contract. The fact that they took my franchise fee knowing they had problems is like fraud to me. Misrepresenting the fact that their business had the ability to survive and sustain itself. Their negative reporting of restructuring/bankruptcy has scared some lenders away from my ability to obtain the funding to open one of these franchises. The fact that when you call the corporate office and phones go busy is huge. I feel that *** mis-lead me into thinking that their was nothing wrong and that he stated that he didn't see any reason why I would not get funding because my credit is good. He thank me for my service as a member of the military service and then took my money and somehow feels it is right to prey on service members. This is morally and ethically wrong to intentionally take a person's hard earned retirement money and now you go silent. I pray that their is a lawyer in California who sees this and is willing to help me recover the franchise fee. Or maybe someone from Burgerim is a stand-up executive who is willing to help me not loose out on the money I paid because it is not my fault that they have their current situation which should have led them to not exploit service members or any person through false statements about the Burgerim franchise.

Return of the *** for breach of contract, and misleading me into believing that there would be an on going relationship when in fact no one from the franchise has reached out to me to explain anything about what is going on with their business.

Stay away!!! They are thieves!!! They wont give us our 50k franchise fee back!!! We need to unite and give them a class a lawsuit. Plain theft!!! LETS UNITE AND TAKE THEM DOWN!!
