The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) prohibits Crowder College from discussing a student's academic
record with a third party without the student's permissionI have personally reviewed the action taken by Crowder personnel in response to the expressed concerns and found that staff exercised due diligence and followed policy in dealing with the situationRelevant information which can be shared follows
Housing refund policies are outlined in the Residence Complex Rules and Regulations booklet, which includes the security deposit refund policy on page 5: Any resident, who moves out of the Residence Hall early, before May of that year and/or does not pay for the entire lease contract through May, will forfeit their entire security deposit
Each student also signs a Crowder College Residence Complex Contract Acknowledgement in addition to signing a Residence Hall Application which details the refund policy as wellA link to the Housing Application and Addendum can be found at the link below:

I have reviewed correspondence between the Cashier's, Campus Life and the Vice President for Student Affairs officesThe staff have proper documentation and have followed the housing refund policy as stated aboveStaff have provided this same information to the student as well
