We have known *** and his son for a number of years and have always enjoyed their company when they came to hunt. *** joined the hunting club on August 1, and paid his dues to hunt in as well at which time he renewed with the largest membership the club offers. There was
plenty of space for he and his son at that time and there is now. To see what he could get as far as availability, one day he called and reserved opening weekends for bow season, junior whitetail season and rifle season. He was given all three opening weekends but did not make all of the days he reserved. He became upset during the last time he hunted and walked out of his blind......which is against the hunting rules and could be dangerous for he and his son and other hunters in their hunting blinds( The Hunting Rules and Release of Liability *** signed and agreed to follow are being faxed under separate cover). During a hunt, if the feeder does not go off or produce corn or feed the hunt is given to the hunter as a free hunt. This applies to all hunting club members and their family. Until I received this complaint in writing from *** I was not aware that anything was wrong. The last time he was here, he sent me an email saying he was on his way home and I replied to drive safely. So I must say, this complaint caught me by surprise. The best I can gather is that he found a different place to hunt and tried to get part of his money back and that is all I can make of it! When I received his complaint he had sent to the Revdex.com, I called him and ask him about it. At that time, the hunting club offered him $(different occasions) to help with his expenses just as a gesture to leave on good terms and to help his feelings. We pulled the game camera where *** and his son were hunting and there are Axis Bucks under his feeder. These photos are stamped with the date and time. To this day, I still do not understand his decision to leave. Please see items #and #in the rules *** has signed. In summary, as a special attempt to help him, we did offer a compensation of $that was refused by ***. We tried to help but *** is not allowed to make his own rules and demands. We all must follow the rules for the land owners as well

I have tried very hard to assist this customer with his complaints but have not been able to do so because of his behaviorHe has broken several rules of the hunting club (sent under separate cover via fax) that he has agreed to follow. In March of he hunted for 2-1/days harvesting an
Axis deer and turkey...he was very happyHe returned to hunt Nov4--through Nov7th (days not days as he has stated). He became violent in the field and was reported to me by one of the clubs ranch foreman. He started swinging his rifle in the air and yelling, and as he stated, walked about yards around his hunting blind when the foreman went to pick him up after his hunt. I did ask the customer about his actions and be yelled and stated it was not him but was another hunter that looked like him. This was not true but we still continued to try and make him happy in hopes to try and please him. One day (his final day) he called me at night and started calling me terrible and violent names and told me he would destroy my business. I was afraid of him and called the Bandera County Sheriffs Department. He was very disrespectable to the officer and told him he would go on any ranch and shot whatever he wanted to...he said he had the right to do so. (This report is on file at the Sheriffs Office). The he began to engage in slandering and harmful post all over the internet to different hunting organizations and hunters as well as to the Revdex.com. We then had to hire an attorney because of the damages he was doing to my character and my hunting business. (A copy of the letter from the clubs attorney to the individual are faxed under separate cover). In the many years I have had my business I have never had to call the Sheriff or hire an attorney.....I had to do something as this individual was out of hand and feared of what he would do. A restraining order and lawsuit are in order through the advise of our attorneyThis customer appeared to be in rage because other club members were seeing and taking game and he was not. On day he did make mention around of our club members that he saw the biggest point whitetail deer he had ever seen in his life. This customer will not let me speak without going into a rage...I do fear him

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Most of [redacted]'s comments are not true.  I never left a stand without texting [redacted] (her employee) and getting permission first.  As a matter of fact, there were a few occasions when [redacted] told us to walk out to the stands alone and back to the truck alone.  One morning, there was another hunter there too, [redacted] didn't even show up to take us to our stands.  Also, there have been several occasions where other hunters don't park in the general parking area.  They park in areas where you can see their automobile on the way in to the parking area.  This is because they can have access to come and go as needed.  That doesn't seem very safe. My hunting other places this year is not relevant to my complaint. [redacted] is making up reasons why I am upset with her company.   I was lied to or at a minimum I was extremely misled on two issues.   There were not five different properties for hunting club members to hunt and we were not allowed to harvest whitetail does during archery season. Again, this was the main reason I joined the club after several years.   My complaints are not being addreseeed.  [redacted] is looking for reasons not to refund the requested $825.  She did offer $600, because she knows she is in the wrong.  I still am requesting the $825 for the portion of the membership that will not be used due to misrepresentations from the club.
Regards,
[redacted]
