Review: We hired Adam Brooks and another photographer as our photographers for the wedding. We got married November 8, 2014 and the contract states all products should be received no later than 60 days after the wedding. We have not heard ANYTHING from Adam. We have not received any photos or products at all. We are devastated and not sure what else to do. We have emailed three times and called all the phone numbers we have on file several times. We are suppose to receive all of our photos in black and white, sepia, and normal views. We are also suppose to receive a photo album and our photos are all suppose to be edited. In addition, we have a video we are suppose to receive. Again, we have received nothing and have not heard anything from him. We have done everything we can to contact him!Desired Settlement: Finish the job AND money back for time spent trying to obtain my pictures!

Review: I hired Brooks Photography to take pictures and video of the rehearsal dinner on Sept. 5, 2014, the night before my daughter's wedding. I know they took pictures and video, however, I have not received the photographs nor the video. I called Brooks photography once and inquired about the photographs and video and wanted to know when I would be getting them. The woman that answered the phone took a message and told me someone would return my call. No one returned my call. I keep trying to contact Brooks Photography by phone but their voicemail is full. If Brooks Photography does not send me the photographs and video I have paid for by credit card, I will contact my credit card company and file a dispute notice.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the photos and video of the rehearsal dinner.

Review: Adam Brooks was hired as a photographer through Brooks Photography Inc. to take photos of my wedding on 8-9-14 at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla, CA. We had a signed contract and I paid him $1200 to complete the task and deliver all the images to me by October 11th. I have not received my wedding photos or heard from Adam directly about this problem yet. My wedding cot over 14,000 and that is a day that I can not recreate. I desperately want my wedding memories and images given to me.Desired Settlement: 1. I would like all my wedding photos.2. If the images are lost/ stolen/ damaged and are unable to be given to me I would like to settle this issue in court.

Review: I signed a contract almost a year ago with Brooks Photography where it states I would get a disc with my pictures in color, black and white, and sepia. I have now been married for 3 months (minus 4 days) and have gotten little to no communication from this company. I have emailed and called and have not received more than an automated message saying I would be contacted the following Monday. That was two weeks ago. I have not heard anything. I also understood in the contract that I had 30 days to contact them about any editing for my photos. I tried and received no communication back. Their services were horrible and I just want the product that I paid for.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the Disc of my wedding pictures and the copyright to those pictures. If I could get a small refund do to the time I have had to spend dealing with an "answering service" and being lied to about getting communication back I would not be objecting to it. Mainly I want my Disc of pictures and copyright that was paid for in full the day the contract was signed.

Review: I signed a contact with Adam Brooks / Brooks Photograhpy back in January 2014. I paid for his services up front and it was in the contact that he would deliver my pictures on a cd in color, black & white, and sepia. I would also receive a photo book and a wedding video. All of this product was to be delivered within 60 days of my wedding, which was 6-14-14. I wrote him a check for $1,157.13 that posted to my account on 1-30-14. After many phone calls, emails, and text messages, he is no where to be found and will not respond to any forms of communication. This company is scamming many couples out of there very special day and all we want is what we paid for. He has violated the contract, plain and simple. Do not do business with this company.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund!

Review: I met with Brooks Photography back in August and met specifically with [redacted] regarding their services. I was looking for a wedding photographer and engagement photos. [redacted] met with me for almost 2 hours reviewing our expectations and desires for wedding photos. I paid in full because they gave a discount if done so. So I purchased a wedding photographer package for our 5/15/15 wedding and he was going to do our engagement photos in October..... So I emailed him to set up an apointment he got back to me saying he would contact me with dates and times and I emailed him back the next day and I got an email that he was away caring for a family member and I should direct my email to [redacted] the owner, I emailed and had no response. Emailed again, called, left messages....weeks went by the business phone number stopped taking voice mails, if you call now it doesn't even give an message. I emailed [redacted], no response just the automatic response saying he is away caring for a sick family memeber. Called, emailed, left messages on [redacted]s cell phone. Called him one day from another number and he Answered said he was no longer with the company, he couldn't answer any of myy questions and told me he would get me a contact number for [redacted] and call me back that evening. He never called me back. I paid almost $1800.00 for services and I can't even get a phone call back. [redacted]'s cell # is ###-###-####. It is so disapointing. Our engagement photos were suppose to be done so we could send save the date cards and it now too late to send them. I have to find a new photographer its less than 6 months before my wedding and they are hard to find. Not to mention I am out all that money.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund, I paid using a credit card throug pay pal

Review: I paid for wedding photography services in full on March 4th, and 5th of 2014 using my ATM Debit card as a Mastercard. Brooks Photography took pictures at my wedding on July 12, 2014 in San Diego, CA and stated we would have our pictures within 2 months of the wedding date. For the past month we have tried to contact them regarding the pictures. We have left several messages and no one has returned our calls. Just this week they have stopped answering the phone all together and are not responding to emails.Desired Settlement: I want my wedding photos delivered in a timely manner, within a week.

Review: I hired [redacted] to photograph my wedding in Palm Springs October 15, 2015. He offered a discount on his services if I would pay if full up-front. I did so.After the wedding, he did not respond to my letters, telephone calls, or Email inquiries. I later learned from my wedding planner he had declared bankruptcy. I learned that other people were similarly affect, never receiving their wedding photos. I see that two couples managed to get a judgement against him in San Diego County.Desired Settlement: 1) If there are criminal proceedings against him, I wish to be a party to these proceedings.2) If there are civil cases brought against him, I wish to be a party to the proceedings.3) I would like ALL of my photos.4) I would like a refund of my payments.

We pre-purchased a photobooth rental from Brooks Photography based in Escondido California for $350. The coupon was used for a 4 hour rental for October 11th, 2014. This price was advertised through SaveLocal and exchange of money handled through Paypal.

We are concerned at this time, for the following reasons:

We were told we would receive the digital copies of the pictures. However, it has been almost 4 weeks and we have not been able to get a hold of them via email or telephone. Both phone numbers say the message machine is "full". Texting his cell number bounces back. Both [redacted] and [redacted]'s emails bounce back. The [email protected] does not bounce back, but we have not received any responses.

Minor issues include: They brought no photobooth costumes as promised, and did not print the guaranteed 100 prints for my guests (they stated the printer had broken). They broke down early (prior to 9:00pm which was the end of the 4 hour commitment from 5:00pm- 9:00pm). Two guests commented that the gentleman manning the booth did not look like he knew what he was doing with the camera.

Because of the zero communication and no photos almost 4 weeks later, we are greatly concerned and am fearful of a scam.

Discussed with another Yelp reviewer and and they are in a similar circumstance.Desired Settlement: Give me the digital copies of the photo booth photos as owed to me through our contractual agreement. I would also like a refund for the 100 physical prints promised onsite for guests.

If this is not possible, I would like a full refund.

Review: Adam Brooks and his associates scammed me other San Diego couples out of our wedding photos and is trying to get away with taking our money with no products to show for it. I have launched a legal battle against him, but he is not a legitimate business and is nothing but a scammer.Desired Settlement: I want my refund and my wedding photos.

Review: We signed a contract with Adam Brooks to for engagement & weddding photography. We did have the engagement session and received our photographs, however, the company is now unreachable and their website has been taken down. I have tried to call (the number is disconnected), and e-mail (no response). Per reviews on Yelp and a [redacted] article, Brooks Photography is unreachable and not delivering wedding photographs that have been taken or responding to phone calls or e-mails. [redacted] reports in early February 2015 "On the Brooks Photography website, a statement reads, "The company has filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy and our counsel will be in touch with you as such if you are owed any refunds or physical products."" We have not been contacted by Brooks Photography for any refunds.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of our payment.
