Brock 360 Pest Solutions Reviews (%countItem)

Brock 360 needs to pay for professional painter to repair the damages done by their employee to my patio and lanai ceiling and surrounding areas.
I hired Brock 360 to complete pest control services quarterly. On the last visit, their employee, Kevin M., decided to spray their pest control solution on the end of a dirty sweeper brush, and used it to sweep the ceilings and surrounding walls in both my porch and lanai areas. Him doing so caused black streaks all over those areas, with the front porch area being overall worse than the lanai with many black streaks everywhere. I was then told by the company's manager, Kelly, that he will paint the areas being he had contacted the manufacturer of the product they use, and it's oil based and why their employee that caused the streaks was unable to clean them off when he attempted to do so initially a short time after the incident had occurred.
What happened instead, was the owner, Greg B., showed up with another of his employees, and stated he will paint the areas instead. I provided the paint and allowed them to proceed to painting the porch and lanai ceiling and surrounding areas, except they did not paint all the areas of damage caused at all as confirmed when I texted Kelly, the manager, immediately after he had arrived at the end of them painting and they all left. Prior to them leaving, and with Kelly present, both myself and my mother stated that the paint job did not look good at all and the black streaks were still clearly visible. They kept insisting on letting it dry, and Kelly would come back to reassess the areas after the paint dried. I stated that I have seen and done enough paint jobs, that their painting was the worse I have ever seen, dry or not. Yet, I still allow the follow up with Kelly to proceed as they insisted.
Kelly then stated he was going to come by and repaint the areas himself being the owner had done such a poor job, and after I had texted him the pictures showing the black streaks are still clearly visible. Kelly wrote that if I am not happy with his paint job, they will pay for a professional painter as I had been requesting.
Instead, the owner showed up at the time I had scheduled for Kelly to come and paint, and stated he will do nothing further, and kept repeatedly stating "It looks better, right?". I was upset and told him this is a brand new house and they ruined the ceiling and surrounding walls in the lanai and porch areas and the black streaks are still clearly visible. He stated he would refund the money I have paid for their pest control services (somewhere in the vicinity of $190) and I could hire a professional painter myself. I stated that would not be enough for a professional painter to paint those areas. Greg then stated to look for "a handyman instead" that will do it cheaper. He then started to deny they did any of the damages at all. I informed him it's all on video tape, from the start, and he still then started to insist they didn't do the damages. Funny trying to deny it after multiple texts messages and attempting to paint the areas if they didn't do the damages?
I am requesting a full refund for everything I paid them for the pest control services, and also payment for a professional painter to paint those areas. The refund will be compensation for all the back and forth and compensating me for my time.

Desired Outcome

Full refund for all I had paid them for their pest control services to compensate me for my time, in addition to payment to have professional painter paint the areas they have damaged.

Brock 360 Pest Solutions Response • Apr 09, 2019

We have made a number of different attempts to satisfy the customers concerns. We have been back to the customer's home 4 different times and cleaned and painted. The customer was still working with her building on some areas that needed to be repainted. The builder was also building a new home next door that may have caused some stuff to drift over. The customer told us the front door had been repainted on one of our visits.

I believe we have cleaned up any markings that may have been left by us during one of our visits. The customer agreed that it looked better, but still believed that more needed to be done. During my last visit the customer was still not satisfied with our efforts, and told me she was pursuing legal action. I offered to refund the money she had paid us up to that date, but she then started to discuss legal action and trying to harm our online reputation.

The customer called my office on April 8, 2019 around the middle of the day asking for her refund. My assistant offered to have me return her call, but she said she was unwilling to speak to me due to a pending lawsuit over this issue. I will be happy to speak to the customer and issue the refund I had offered earlier, but I will need the customer to agree not to pursue legal action and quit disparaging us online.

The 4 times the company's employee or owner arrived to my home included the 1 time they attempted to clean it but realized they couldn't, and the horrible job of painting it the one time. Any other times were to waste more of my time discussing what they were going to do, but obviously didn't follow through or I wouldn't be submitting this complaint.
I am attaching pictures showing the black streaks that were done initially, and the paint job the company owner has done. He was lucky I provided the paint saving him that cost, and even allowed him the attempt to paint it all. I should have requested professional painters from the start instead.
In regards to the builder painting my front door: this has absolutely nothing to do with the damage to the ceilings and surrounding walls caused by Brock 360. This is obviously a distraction attempt of the true issue, which is they are trying not to spend a dime on correctly what their ill-trained employee did to my brand new home.
I informed him I will let everyone know of owner's poor decision to not follow through on correcting the damage they have done, including letting everyone know what they did and how they handled it, and also pursuing legal action.
I will not pursue legal action, which will cost the company more in the end as I will also pursue reimbursement for my time and legal fees at that point, if they refund all my money paid for the pest service to compensate me for all my time they have wasted, in addition to paying for a professional painter to paint the porch and lanai ceilings and surrounding walls correctly.
I did do as the owner suggested and received a few estimates from a "handyman" as he was saying the refund would cover the "handyman" painting instead of the professional painters I would hire. They show what I have said is true, and that the cost to get the areas painted is no where near the measly $195 he would refund me.
I have considered reporting this to not only the local news that we already have friends as newscasters there, but also pursuing this with 8 On Your Side in Tampa Bay area. I will not stop until I get this corrected as should have been done in the first place if the owner cared at all about customer service or reputation.
I also can provide proof of everything I am stating, including videos, photos, and text message communications with Brock 360 employees regarding this matter. The owner of *** 360 can only continue to make poor business decisions and try to distract from the problem: He needs to pay to correct what his employee did to my brand new home, in addition to compensate me for all the time I've wasted with all the back and forth with him, and now.

Please let me know if you would like for me to issue you a check directly for the $270 you requested for painting services. I would need a signed statement that you accept this resolution and will not pursue any other claims. This is my final offer to resolve this dispute.

Customer Response • May 30, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My request is for a total of $465 that includes reimbursing me what I paid the painters, in addition to refunding the money I paid you to compensate me for my time.
If you truly care that much about further action or your reputation, that is a small sum considering all the time I've wasted due to the poor customer service from you after damaging my home.
If you don't agree and I don't receive the $465 within the next week, I will continue to pursue further action and will continue to tell others of what has occurred, including posting and showing the pictures and videos supporting it.
