The Breast Fest a not-for-profit charity was established in when our daughters' dear friend [redacted] was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 27.? My husband Dan M [redacted] and I wanted to do something to help her and we decided to have a charity motorcycle run.We have continued to have the charity event to help other women in our community who are fighting the fight against Breast Cancer for the pastyears.We have over volunteers and hundreds of donors.? We get as many items donated as possible to make every year a success.? ? After expenses we distribute all the proceeds to our recipients.? ? I believe this complaint was initiated due to the fact that this person was in a relationship with our son and it ended badly.? I have thanked her many times for the amazing donations she provided for our cause.? We truly appreciated all she donated.? I have received many emails saying she is suing us and then says she is going to let it go.? I do not wish to have anymore contact.? As far as reimbursing her for items given is not possible.? We give the recipients the funds once we pay expenses after the events.? I do not have any of these items.*Items listed in the complaint to be returned are not available since they were given out at our event.? ? *Request for Reimbursement of Shipping Charges - we have never reimbursed donors for shipping in all of our years of coordinating this event.? I offered after many email requests from her, but she replied via email saying she was financially set and did not need the money and was dropping all of these complaintsNow that we have this new complaint, I believe it is due to the fact that my son will not respond to her many emails, texts and phone calls.? ? I sent. She placed all my donations under a person who does not act in a moral fashion. I would very much like all the donation I gave back. Including shipping costs.
