[redacted] came to his forth appointment set up in our office, after missing the prior three. When he called to set his appointment, his complaint was that the vehicle runs rough and has erratic high and low idol and would barely drive. He...
wanted to bill some insurance type of policy instead of paying the bill himself. We pulled the car in and put it on the diagnostic scanner which had over 20 codes show up with different problems on the car, once of which was for reprogramming throttle and throttle peddle which our office is not able to do because of the car being an import. [redacted] was showed the list of codes on the scanner and we raised the hood to show him the throttle control that needed to be reprogrammed but it had a cover that bolts to the top of the motor. We ended up charging him for scanning the car and referred him to a shop in Peoria who would be able to work on this type of import vehicle. [redacted] left our shop and called back about 20 minutes later saying the car was not idling correctly and would hardly run, claiming that something we did caused this problem. Nothing was done to his car except the scanner put on it to see what error codes it had.
He is also complaining about a $150.00 tow charge which was not a tow, it was a police impound. This vehicle was impounded by the Farmington Police Department on July 8, 2016 and held in our storage lot until July 14, 2016 when it was released by Farmington Police Department when [redacted] paid the charges and picked it up.

Please be advised that no error codes were found as my engine light was not even on..,these guys were not able to complete the scan or get any codes off of my car..they messed up my master air intake system and wont even own up to it. My request for a refund still stands as this is completely unacceptable.
