About two years ago, I purchased [redacted], GPS + Radar from the Escort web page with warranty for about $649. After few months, I started having issues with the device. It was freezing most of the time, and not allowing me to reset. So, I sent in under the warranty contract, they fixed and sent it back to me. After using it about couple of months, I started having the same issues with couple of extras such GPS taking me out of highway to a street, asking me to make a "Safe U Turn" after a mile and taking me back to the same highway. I called in and complaint about the GPS portion of the device. They told me they cannot take it back but all they can offer is to fix. I told them many times I no longer trust the GPS portion of the device, obviously GPS portion of the device sucks or they have defects. Since I was happy with the radar portion and had no problem, I even offered them to pay more to exchange my product with an only Radar device. They said they cannot do. But I sent in again, they sent me a new ** device. Guess what, after using few months my GPS portion of the device is frozen and it has been trying to obtain a location since last November, 2013. I called in, told them it is frozen and it worse this time. It is the exact same problems I had before and obviously there is a defect with their product. They said they have to charge me to fix it since it is out of warranty. Even I had the same issues before and they tried to fix it few times, they still ask me to believe/trust their product. It is obvious no matter how many times they fix, after using few months same problems occur. There is a defect with the device, and if I spent more than $600 to get a trusted product, I want it to be on best working condition as everyone else.
