Contract quote me for 300 to fix dry wall and paint leaving room if I supply paint. I left the country for emergency due to my mother was sick and my daughter stay at home, when contractor came to paint room I have left a gift card from [redacted] for him to use it to buy only paint since I supposed to supply paint, well the balance on my gift card was for 260.00. The contractor used all the 260.00 not only he bought 4 gallons of paint which he used 2 only, also he bought a ladder, a extension pole, a set of brushes, rollers, paint cups, rugs, paint tray kit and a mount dew drink and 2 bottles of Gatorade.He excuse was that his fianc has left him and took everything he had, he never return a copy of receipts or "my [redacted]" card which I left also for him to record purchase of paint, thanks to [redacted] I was able to track all Items he purchase. when he finished the job he told my daughter that the total amount for the job was 450.00 which he quote me for 300.00, my daughter couldn't get up with me so she paid him what he requested. Paint job was bad there are some places to be re-paint I ask him to come and re do it and give me my money back he is blaming all to me telling me that I knew he was not a painter! and that he gave me plenty time to pay him I don't know what exactly he is talking about, but I am really upset and disappointed of him I thought he was a nice guy but I think he took advantage of my situation and him telling me his personal problems has nothing to do with the job he has performed.Desired SettlementI will Like to have my refund from gift card contractor used.More info received from the consumer 2013-11-13Contractor Pay Back 150.00 By Check Of What He Used Of Consumer Gift Card
