Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The Avella company did not offer to do anything for me and insisted that their website said that the free sample was not a free sample but rather a trial sample in which I had to call and cancel if I didn't want to get charged for the sample This is completely untrue The website I was on clearly stated the sample as a free sample and I would only have to pay $for shipping There was absolutely no further statement, notice or directions that stated I was enrolling in a monthly auto renew order and that it was a trial and I would need to call and cancel The customer service lady even gave me a website to go to to see these statements for myself, which was not the website I went to in the first place And the site address she gave me did not go to an active site There was nothing for me to even see, just an error message that said that address was not valid! After spending minutes on the phone the agent said, I can give you back half of your money, to which I said that is a start, but that I wanted all of my money back At the time of sending the complaint to the Revdex.com, I still had not received the refund, so I didn't even know if they would do that Eventually the half refund did come through, but I still want all of my money back because I did not receive the notice that they say I did about a trial sample or I WOULD NOT have signed up for it I specifically was looking for any such notice and there was none Just a notice that said it was a free sample and that all I would have to pay was shipping It is nothing less than a scam.I have since disputed it with my bank, so we'll see if they can get the rest of my money back But I do not accept that company's half refund as the final agreement I deserve back all of the $that they took from my account! I paid the $shipping for the little bottle of skin cream as was per the agreement!!! Regards, [redacted] ***

I ordered this product from a TV commercial that showed [redacted] as an endorser, which she is not I had also ordered a similar product from DermaSkinBrands prior to the present one The Eye Serum and the Anti-aging cream was packaged identically to DermaSkinBrands (Avoir Derma Eye Serum and Avoir Derma Anti-aging cream), same kind of bottle and jar Only the name on them was differentBoth were mailed in the same box, but I was charged a shipping fee for each one I became suspicious and called Avella-Aveena They had no explanation for the similaritySince it was after the "trial period", I was charged the full price, which they said had already been charged to my credit cardThey did cancel future orders I believe this is a scam, especially after I read the reviews with the same complaints as mineI should have looked it up in the first placeI feel really stupid for ordering it because I should have known there is not a product that is going to help the signs of ag
Customer purchased a trial product from our company through a websiteAll terms and conditions were disclosed to customer and they check-boxed the acceptanceThey called into our customer service center where they were further disclosed all terms and conditionsWith that being said, they had agreed to a 50% refund of $44.97, as customer satisfaction is key to our businessThank you
I ordered their product as a trial which they advertised for shipping fees only
I had no idea I agreed to pay them $per item after days nor was there any clarity that I would be automatically billed every month for the higher amount Evidently you have to click on a link, which I didnt do and now I am stuck with $100's of dollars of a product I do not want
I tried reaching out to the company but they refused to let me return the second shipmentThey offered me all kinds of discounts to stay on including a senior discount of over 50%
Therefore, I am contacting you
There should be better advertising and billing methodsThis feels like I have been scammed

I saw a product advertised as *** *** Anti aging Serum and having respect for her and hearing good word about her skin care products, I followed the *** *** link to get a free sample of her anti aging skin care product The site said all that I would have to do is pay the $shipping cost I searched the site to be sure that there was no statement about an auto ship membership or any other type of auto enroll program and there was nothing on the site to indicate this so I signed up for the free sample and was charged $on 2/28/ Then today I saw in my account there the same company charged $on 3/14/ So I called the company and asked what that was about and they said that I had enrolled in a day trial period and if I didn't call their number I would get charged $ I said this is not at all what the website said She said go to www.avellausa.com and that I would see the terms This was not the website I went to because the website I went to di
I purchased a trial of Avella and was to be charged for shipping $for a day supply, when I placed the order, it then pops up a page for an additional product, an eye cream, for separate shipping for $I was unable to cancel this productI received both products in one package on 07/10/according to the USPS trackingI called them today 07/20/and spoke to Ingrid @ 8:27am because I have a charge in my bank account for $I asked if they were affiliated with Dermal AppealIngrid initially acted as if she was unfamiliar with the nameI said I was calling because this was the only skin care product I had purchased online and now I had a charge for $She said that is how much the product I received costI told her that is not what I signed up for, and I thought I was getting a trial product for $She said that was not the caseI then asked how I could return my unopened product and get a refund to which Ingrid stated it was an all sales final purchase
Company claimed it would take over months to refund almost $in unauthorized chargesWanted to charge “restocking fees” in over for each product and claimed that they could only return 75% of two charges Failed to provide proof that contract was signed or that they would charge me “full retail price” after days
This company lures you into their auto-ship plan with promises of beauty via anti-aging reversalNot trueThey don't identify their auto-shipping policy when you sign up for the "free shipping" on a trial productdays later I had a $monthly charge deducted from my bank accountScammers! They charged my bank account and I put a stop payment on it Here's their most recent contact number Supposedly they "canceled" my accountI did get a confirmation number, so hopefully it is closedBeware of the ADVERTISING and auto-drafts from your bank account!!!!

I ordered a free trial of this product After a few weeks, my bank account showed multiple charges that added up to around $ Every piece of communication that I had with this company showed a different business name (Body Mod, Aveena, etc.) making it impossible to find contact information on my own My bank provided me with a phone number but the company refused to offer a full refundThe company maintains that by aggreeing to a trial, I also agreed to these charges However, at no point did I read and accept those terms Additionally, I had no way of contacting them to cancel the trial as I did not have a working phone number or even a valid company name with which to use until the charges posted with the bank
