I do still have the packaging with the label that the jacket was in Mr [redacted] spoke with our school prinicpal (Mr [redacted] ) on 1/and was assured he was tracking it with him on the phone, it had shipped and was on the way Mr [redacted] then called me to notify me of their conversation.The packaging shows that it was not even shipped until 1/or 1/(I apologize as I do not have the packaging in front of me while I write this to confirm the date[redacted] told me that it had been delayed because of the "custom patches" that we were requesting I had spoken with [redacted] a year ago to see if they did custom patches and was told then it was no problem They were even changing vendors and would have a better selection and ability to get what we needed/wantedThe letter she wrote states that it was never even ordered when the rest of the jackets for our school were ordered When I inquired about it, I was told that it was "delayed" because of our request for custom patches I was never told that it was not ordered At first, I felt like a simple apology would have been enough I understand everyone makes mistakes/things happen that are out of our control When I could not even get that, I decided then to file the complaint with you I have asked that Mr [redacted] call and speak with me and have still received nothing At this point, I feel since they "offered" for me to not have to pay the balance, then I should at least receive that portion back (And for clarification on that, [redacted] told me in our conversation on 12/that "if I could, I would just give you a refund out of my own pocket and be done with it") Our school secretary, [redacted] , was given $in cash that was given to Mr [redacted] on November when the other jackets for the school were delivered I did not send anymore than that because I had not heard if they had gotten the patches made or not He told [redacted] at that time that he felt horrible that he was taking money for a jacket he did not have to give my son He remembered my son because we were the first ones to meet with him the day he came to take orders and we were requesting the custom patches He said he would check on the status and get back with me I never received anything I had to call and email numerous times before I got any responseMy son is a Type Diabetic and it is important to keep him from being too cold and keep his insulin/insulin pump from freezing When I could not get an answer or response from Athlon II on the status, I knew I had to do something because of the arctic temperatures we were about to experience So, I bought him a coat to get him through the winter Not being sure when or if the jacket was actually coming, I had to make sure he is taken care ofThere are a couple of other reviews on Yelp about this company While I know that is not how Revdex.com researches a company, please know I am not the only one who has had this issue They do not respond to emails well, and NEVER to a phone message It is nearly impossible to even get them to answer the phone and when you call the business number it goes to an answering machine, but you cannot leave a messageI am still in shock at the response she sent, honestly Admitting she was rude is only the beginning of how she treats/talks to people I have been in customer service for my entire working career, since I was years old, and could NEVER imagine treating or speaking to someone the way she does Even if she is not paid by Mr [redacted] for her time, that is her decision and should not be taken out on customersI apologize it has come to having to contact you regarding this matter If you need anything further or have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.Thank you for your time, [redacted] Benefits CoordinatorAdministrative Services Center [redacted] ***Phone: [redacted] Fax: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
I delivered cash (remaining balance) to the high school on the day the jackets were due Mr*** even told our school secretary he felt horrible about taking the money when there was no jacket to be
delivered to my son, when she spoke with him and she was told the jacket was due on 12/ I did receive the jacket in January, after having to ask multiple times and then being told it was "here", but given no address or where I needed to pick it up from Mr*** supposedly said he would deliver it to me, and I declined that offer, wanting to be positive it was as ordered and was correct It was missing the "custom" patches that was supposed to be the reason the jacket was even delayed And this letter from Athlon now states that it was never even ordered initially The date on the packaging was well after Athlon is stating it was supposed to have shipped (yes, I still have the packaging) I have also contacted the "manufacturer" to confirm when the jacket was actually ordered The story Athlon is providing does not match with theirs. When I went to pick up the jacket, *** did not even come to speak with me and sent some young gentleman up to the front counter I asked at that time that Mr*** please call me and to this day have heard nothing from him I asked that I receive some sort of reimbursement for the winter coat I had to pay for to get my son through the majority of the winter as we were getting different stories as to when his letterman jacket was going to actually be delivered and my son can/could not go without a coat I have received nothing No calls, no emails, NOTHING. I paid for a letterman jacket for my son to wear and enjoy his senior year, not for a headache from *** or Mr*** As it stands, he has not gotten to enjoy it He is more upset at the way this has been handled A simple call or email to keep us updated on things, and none of this was necessary I will not accept a letter written by *** and stamped with Mr***'s stamp (that is obvious in the letter) I have asked for, at the very least, a partial refund or better yet, a FULL reimbursement and would like something for the hassel, the lack of professionalism/rudeness of the representative of the company, the time I have also had to take out my schedule (unpaid) to have to deal with this entire situation, and the coat I had to purchase for the winter because we could not get a straight answer from Athlon on where his letterman jacket was. I failed to also mention that I have dealt with *** for years Every time I have spoken with her, she has been short, rude, or hateful When she states she is going to mail information on their products because they are changing their manufacturer, and then you receive nothing When I asked literally over a year ago about having custom patches made, she said at then it was not an issue I DID NOT receive the product I asked for Yes, it is a letterman jacket, but it does not have the patches we specifically asked for If you look at the emails, you can see where she DID NOT respond to several of my messages asking specific questions This is completely on the shoulders of Athlon and I feel like I have literally wasted over $300.
