at the damage done to the floor including Stewart Russell, the glaziers accused of causing the damage and an objective third party, everyone agrees there is no way we caused the damage to the floor. The shower door was uncrated outside, and carried in, dragging it as they suggest would have broken the door. The gouge in the floor is too close to the wall to have allowed the people to carry it in. Mr. [redacted] ordered the wrong door. It was installed and then removed. None of which has he paid for, therefore we did state we would cover materials. He then filed this complaint with you and an attorney. In order to avoid the hassle of litigation we have agreed to pay for the replacement of the floor based which is $1,841 although he has to sign a release and withdrawal this complaint. Let me know if you need any other information. Thank you, [redacted]ControllerAssociated Glass, Inc.[redacted]

Review: We renovated our shower over the summer. A shower door was ordered from Associated Glass. Unfortunately the wrong door was installed. During the installation, the shower door or frame was dragged through our house over our wood floor. This left an indentation/scratch from our front door, through our living room and hallway to the entrance of our bedroom. Associated Glass was immediately contacted about the incorrect door and damaged floor. They demanded payment for the incorrect door. Eventually they agreed to remove the door and repair the damaged tile from placement of the incorrect door. A wood floor repair specialist has estimated that repair would cost $5576 for sanding repair or $2353 for replacement. Associated Glass originally agreed to pay half the replacement damage to the wood floor, then only for materials ($750) as they now claim it wasn't caused by them.Desired Settlement: $2353 for repair of the damaged floor
