I would like to apologize to [redacted] and his colleague [redacted] in this situation.I have been running Review You our paidvertorial review service since 2004 and we have processed thousands of reviews. Here I will clarify some of the points he has raised. Especially where there are...

differences in how we see the communications & timelines transpired. On Dec ** 2013, [redacted] started an inquiry with our company for one of our paid Review You packages. We received and responded thereafter to his questions. We were then separately contacted by a ‘ [redacted]’, on Dec ** 2013 ( an associate of [redacted] ). [redacted] then placed an order; we then confirmed the processed payment. An auto-generated response was then sent to [redacted], asking for more information from him in order for the client process to begin. This critical information was never sent to us from [redacted]. It is instrumental in the way we work that this information be returned to us. All our email communications with a new client stress this point.A month went by with no contact from [redacted] or [redacted]. Often our clients can take several days or even weeks to return these primary forms back to us, so we didn’t feel there was anything amiss. On Jan ** 2014, [redacted] says he sent an email to one of our email boxes beginning [redacted] none of our email records indicate any email incoming from [redacted] or [redacted] on the date mentioned.Another month goes by without further communication, nor receipt of the critical information we required from [redacted] & [redacted] to start to process the order. The following is the timeline of transactions and communications thereafter with [redacted], appearing belowFebruary **, 2014 : [redacted] places an order for 10 reviews for a total of $385. [redacted] is sent an auto generated message stating that the order has been received and requesting additional information.February **, 2014 : [redacted] contacts [redacted] to inquire about his order. February **, 2014: [redacted] replied to [redacted] and copies [redacted] on the email. February **, 2014 : [redacted] replies to [redacted] and informs him that his order was received, but he needs to provide additional information to proceed with the email. February **, 2014 : [redacted] sends [redacted] an email with the requested information.February **, 2014 : [redacted] assigns the reviews and notifies [redacted] of the writers name and addresses so he can mail physical copies of the albums. March 2014 : the writers receive the albums on the following dates:March [redacted] and[redacted] March -April 2014 : [redacted] is sent the completed reviews on the following dates:March [redacted] and ** andApril * and *. June **, 2014 : [redacted] sends an email to [redacted] requesting a refund and resends email that he says was sent in January 2014. June **, 2014 : [redacted] forwards email to [redacted] and asks her to look into this issue and refund the review.June **. 2014 : [redacted] emails [redacted] and states that the previous January email was not received; she also tells him that they will refund the money. She also requests the opportunity to complete the review and asks for the pertinent information to proceed with the review. This information is not provided, nor an address to send a check or email address to send a [redacted] payment.June **, 2014 : [redacted] emails [redacted] and notifies him that because more than 120 days has passed since the initial transaction, the charge cannot be refunded to the credit card, per our merchant accounts rules. The option of paying via [redacted] or sending a check is offered. The request for an email address to send to [redacted] or a physical address to send a check is not provided.October **, 2014 : [redacted] emails [redacted] and again asks for a refund.October **, 2014 : [redacted] and [redacted] confer and [redacted] again states that a credit card refund is not possible, that a check or [redacted] payment is the only options. October **, 2014 : [redacted] sends an email to [redacted] and offers to refund instantly via [redacted] or [redacted].October **, 2014 : [redacted] states that [redacted] is not an option.October **, 2014 : [redacted] asks for an address to send a check.October **, 2014 : [redacted] requests a bank draft versus a check to avoid check cashing fees. He provides, for the first time, an address for [redacted]. October **, 2014 : [redacted] replies that a bank draft is not allowed by her bank, because her bank is out of state and it is not possible to get a bank draft, again she says she will mail a check or process an instant transfer via [redacted] or [redacted] does not reply. December **, 2014 : Revdex.com complaint is received by [redacted]I look forward to resolving this issue with [redacted] & [redacted]. As you can see, many attempts were made to rectify this amicably from our end.I will mail an official check to [redacted] as soon as the Revdex.com helps us to resolve this issue.Thank you for your time,[redacted],[redacted]

Review: Back on December **, 2013 I wrote [redacted] about ordering some reviews from her company. One of her staff, a [redacted] wrote back and told me to go ahead and place the order. On December **, 2013 I placed the order, sent the appropriate information as instructed, and paid my $119.00 US fee through their [redacted] account, and received my receipt. From their advertisement on the Internet they had promised to contact me within two days of receiving my money, and that the order was to be completed within two weeks of receiving my information. I waited for the two days, then two weeks and then another two weeks, but had heard nothing from [redacted] company. On January **, 2014 I wrote [redacted] a letter, which I emailed to the correct address explaining that I was quite disappointed in them and that we had heard nothing in the month since they had received our money. Our letter, although received, was totally ignored. As the matter was time sensitive, we continued with our project and waited to hear from [redacted], which never happened. On June **, 2014 we wrote [redacted] again and said after waiting a full six months, and not hearing again from them, we would like a refund for the $119.00 US which we had sent six months earlier. On June **, 204 we receive a reply from [redacted] from the same staff member who had originally told us to place the order, a [redacted]. She claimed they had never received any emails from us, although they were sent to the same email address to which she had replied from some six months earlier. She said she could certainly refund the amount due but asked that we provide the information on the albums so she could complete the order, which information we had of course sent on the earlier email which she claims they did not receive. If we would still rather the refund, we will get that process started as soon as possible. On June **, 2014 this same [redacted] writes saying the letter and email had been forwarded on to her from [redacted], saying again they would like to complete the order, or if I preferred a refund, I will get that issued today. But no refund was processed. She wrote saying, is [redacted] an accessible platform for sending a refund or would you prefer a cheque? As we did not have a [redacted] account, we preferred a cheque, but as the original payment had been made through a colleagues credit card, we asked that the credit card be credited. Again nothing happened. On October **, 2014, some ten months after I had sent my order and my $119.00 US, I again wrote [redacted] seeking a refund. I mentioned I was making one last effort to deal with her directly for this refund before I sought outside help, and again asked that the credit card they had charged the amount to be credited.October **, 2014, [redacted]s staff member [redacted] writes that she cannot refund the credit card. She wrote if I dont have a [redacted] account, provide a mailing address so a check can be issued. I wrote back with the requested information so that a check could be issued. On October **, 2014 [redacted] herself writes, we will refund the credit card, but we will not send a check or a bank draft. By now it was apparent that they were just playing games with me.Oct **, 2014 [redacted] wrote saying she would be happy (in capitals) to send a refund. She then said she can send money asap with [redacted] or [redacted], but again would not send a cheque or refund the credit card, although both options had been promised before. Of course she was fully aware we did not have a [redacted] account, and being an International customer, we would not have a [redacted] account. That was two months ago and we have not heard from them since, nor do we expect to again.I shudder to think how many people this dishonest company has done this sort of thing to, especially if they are international customers. After a year of false promises, and freely admitting they owe the money, they seem to be enjoying playing this game. We felt we had only two options left to us. We could contact the Revdex.com or contact the FBI Internet Fraud division. We thought to contact the Revdex.com first. Although $119.00 US is a relatively small amount of money, due to the way these people have intentionally dragged this on, we are committed to resolving this issue.Desired Settlement: A cheque mailed as per the information given to the company some months ago.
