I went to this bow shop looking to purchase a bow with 70 lbs of draw and a 27.5 inch draw length and told the bow technician which bow I was fairly certain met those requirements. The bow tech sold me the bow set up minor accessories on the bow and sold it to me. I took the bow to get the remaining accessories at *** and was told it was only capable of 60 lbs of draw and 28 inches of draw. I returned to the shop to see if I was able to return the item, I was told they have a no returns policy and denied I told them the specifics of the bow I was looking for and advised it was my responsibility to verify the specifics of the item prior to purchase. The basis for my complaint is the bow tech was informed what bow I was looking for and didn't take the time to notify the bow I was confused with was not going to meet the requirements I was looking for. Also, after slandering *** repeatedly, and telling me I was the type of "problem customer" they wish would just go elsewhere, I was told if I were to share my opinion of the level of service I received at their business, I would be sued for defamation. Unfortunately, the paperwork trail for the transaction is nearly non-existent as the product didn't come with any information except a green price taped on and a credit card machine receipt.

Refund I am just looking to get a refund for the cost of the bow. I would even be willing to pay a minor restocking fee.
Archery Outfitters, LLC, business since 1997 husband and wife shop. a no return, no refund business. Our shop is not a buy it, try it return is shop. We do not hide the fact that we do not take returns or give refunds. signage everywhere in shop, at counter and on register receipt. Once bow is purchased and has left our shop, it is considered a used bow. Customer said he did his research, he picked this bow from the rack - clearance bow, never shot- and placed it on the counter to purchase. a D-loop, kisser, peep were put on the bow at no charge. Bow was purchased on ***. Customer left our shop and took bow to be setup at another business. *** customer posted this statement on ***, "Purchased new on *** from Archery Outfitters new, ended up not being the make/model I was looking for and returns are not allowed." Customer came in *** asking to return bow, he said he had the bow chronographed and the bow was no faster than his other bow.
