Aperion Management Group

We recently received communication from the Revdex.com that we did not respond to this complaint. This is the first time that we are seeing this complaint, and would definitely have responded asap. Please see our response below:
Our company manages homeowners associations as
our core business, and this complaint is from an owner in one of these associations. We are the managing agent for the association, and the *** debt is owed to the association and not Aperion Management Group. The *** have been contesting their balance since we took over the management of their community in January 2013. They continue to persist that we did not cash a payment that was initiated at about the time of the transition from the previous management company to Aperion. We have persistently asked them to provide proof of payment, which they have failed. All they have shown is that a payment was initiated from a bill pay system, not that the payment was cashed. We have asked for the check number or how the payment was made so that we can search all of our records for the missing payment. They have been unable to provide this number, and recently they had their bank contact us. We were able to confirm with the bank that the payment was not cashed.
As for documentation, we, both Aperion and the association’s legal counsel, have provided their full account ledger on many occasions. They don’t agree with it, so they refuse to accept that this is their account ledger. These are hard numbers and cannot be modified out of our system.
At this point in time, we have provided all the information and ledgers to the owner that we could, but have not received the necessary information from the *** to find a missing payment. The community has a collection process that the Board of Directors has adopted, and by which, as the Association manager, we have followed We gave the *** the opportunity to resolve this, but they have consistently disregarded the information presented to them, and per their community’s collection process, was turned over to a collection attorney who is now in control of the situation.
As a side note, our company name is Aperion Management Group, and not Aperion Properties Management. If this could be changed that would be great.
