As per *** *** said complaint, the $coupon is a corporate coupon for a comprehensive eye examWhen a customer makes an appt for the $exam, we clearly state that there is an additional charge of $if the Drneeds to perform a dilated fundus examWhen the patient comes in for the exam,
the Drwill then explain if this add'l exam needs to be doneIf for any reason the patient cannot or refuses the dilation, the Drwill either make an appt for the patient to come back at the later date or will note that the patient refused dilation on said dateThis is absolutely not forced onto any patient by staff or DrThe customer is in charge of making their own decisions on their own health*** *** agreed to allow the Drto do the dilation as he paid for the service on said dateWhen payment is made, it is so upon agreement between Drand patientAt this point, the services have been renderedWe apologize if the patient was not happy with the professional services that were given to himPerhaps, he would be happier going to another Drin the futureThank you

I am rejecting this response because:Whomever responded to my complaint at Cohen's does not know the details of my customer experience or is a boldface LIAR. As stated in my complaint, I was told of the additional $40 only after the exam. If I were told of the additional $40 option up front, I probably would have agreed to the additional test. But I wasn't told and that is what I find unacceptable. And, in regard to the response to my complaint, to think that someone has so few scruples as to sacrifice their honesty for a paltry $40 makes me think very little of Cohen's personnel and you can rest assured that I will never set foot into this crooked establishment again.
