Review: I purchased my car (2006 Audi A4 2.0T) from them in January of 2013. I paid them a dealer fee in the amount of $387 to Register and Inspect my vehical prior to me recieving the car. They set the stickers onto the windshield of the car after getting it inspected and registered. As a courtesy for delaying this process, they delievered the car to my house. On July *, 2013, I recieved a NYS parking violation for improper display of registration sticker. Considering I have no knowledge of placing the stickers myself, I contacted the dealer to ask them to take care of the issue. They informed me that "it wasn't a big deal" and to "peel off the sticker carefully and tape it on to the correct place and go to the DMV to get the ticket removed." This was all incorrect advisement. However I followed it and as expected the DMV told me they cannot do anything about a parking violation. I called the dealer and spoke to [redacted]. I told him I could not take off from work to go to the hearing in person, but I would try to pleade not guilty via the online system, but if by chance the ticket remained guilty, I requsted that they pay for the violation because it was their fault and it was a service I had paid them for. [redacted]. flat out refused to pay for the ticket and said it was not his responsibility and that it was their courtesy and I have no right to ask them to pay for the ticket. Then he rudely hung up the call. They have also failed to comply with repairing some problems in my car while it was under 30 day warranty (which ended in Feb of 2013).Desired Settlement: I want them to take responsibility for their mistake which caused me to get this ticket. I want them to pay for the ticket and repair the issues with my car that I informed them about during the 30 day warranty period but they had failed to do so. I want a reimbursement of the dealer fee if possible because it seems as if I paid them for no reason as they have caused me more loss down the line.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I realized that they are trying to be sneaky and get away with technicalities. The car was purchased under my husband's name, [redacted], and that is why they claim that they have no record of selling to me ([redacted]). This just shows how disgusting and full of lies their tactics are. This is not how people should conduct business. I have attached the receipt regarding the car my husband and I purchased. This is outrageous, that just because it was my husband's name on the bill of sales that it doesn't make me their customer as well? Especially considering the car was purchased for me and I had selected it myself. Furthermore, I will provide my husbands contact info to confirm that he is my husband and that he did indeed purchase the car for me. [redacted] can be reached at ###-###-####. I hope people see their horrible behavior and keep away from them.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted],

July **, 2013

As Per our conversation, in reference to [redacted], there is no Dealer Fee charged for the sale of the referenced vehicle. our standard Charge for new plates with two year registration is $350.00 and a NYS Inspection Charge of $37.00. Both totaling in the amount of $387.00. It's unfortunate that the consumer has received a parking violation. However, when I had spoken to the consumer, the consumer has filed Not Guilty as we have suggested, and the consumer was indeed found NOT Guilty. In addition, I have attached the invoices and records of the vehicle referenced being serviced from the Certified Audi of Huntington Service Center, dated on the same day as the sale of this vehicle. Any valid Issues that are being claimed by the consumer within the conditions of the warranty and its period would be taken care of by Audi in itself. With that said, Ihave no understanding what the consumer expects from our Dealership. The Consumer is pretty much requesting a "fee"/ " fine" refund; "fee" that was a legitimate standard NYS registration/NYS Inspection Charge, and a "fine" that was found NOT Guilty. I request the Consumer to put a stop to further harassment of our dealership on a business level as

well as an individual level (including and not limited to threatening phone calls, and text messages). Thank you for your cooperation
