I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted] brother, [redacted] is the salesman who offered the $400 discount. My husband, my father in law, and myself and heard this from him. Each time [redacted] has called the business, he gets bounced back and forth between [redacted]nd [redacted] Yes it is a used vehicle, but you refused to lower the price because of the worn out tires and the check engine sensor. We first contacted Allen's about purchasing tires a week ago and have given him at least three opportunities to make things right to no avail. [redacted] got into a heated conversation with my husband on the phone Monday and it ended with [redacted] yelling. He later called back and apologized. He also stated that his brother did not have the authority to offer a deal. It shouldn't matter who offered the deal, it need honored.

To whom it may concern; On April 20th I received a letter from the Revdex.com that a customer had filed a complaint. This customer purchased a used truck from us in October 2015 the tires were approx. 40 to 45% I told the customer I would give them a good deal on tires I never said that...

I would give them $ 400.00  towards a set of tires that would be crazy, They have been driving this vehicle for ( 7 ) months and now they want me to purchase new tires that is crazy it was a used vehicle not a new one. When they called me about tires and told me what they were looking at the [redacted] I told them that [redacted] made several different Courser tires the ones he said he wanted I priced at $1072.00 not $1300.00 I told them about several other tires he said I will let you know in a few days when he called me he said he could get them for $976.00 I told him that was cheaper than l could buy them. Until I received this letter he had never said anything about me giving a $400.00 discount, He just said I told him I would give him a good deal and I told him I was but I couldn't lose money on them. And on the sensor we did check the code and replace the sensor and the light went out. Again it is a used vehicle a 2007 I am willing  to check the engine light but if it isn't the same code then they would have to pay for having it checked. They were also offered to purchase an extended warranty. If his wife has worked in auto sales for several years she would know a dealer isn't going to give a $ 400.00 discount seven months after the fact. I have been in the car business for 27 years and I have never done that.  They knew they were buying a used truck that was very nice and above average.Thanks, [redacted], Owner
