This is to inform you about the incompetent and dishonest business of Mr. [redacted] of [redacted]) as presented on his business website as well as on [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] promotes his services in a way that is grossly inaccurate and misleading. I have been fooled by Mr. [redacted] and I don’t want anyone else to be fooled by him. I found Mr. [redacted] via Craiglist. His add stated exactly what I was looking for – someone to professionally format my dissertation in APA style. His [redacted] ad and his website state that this is what his company does and that he along with his staff are all [redacted] League educated, which I have come to highly doubt given the egregious errors he has made for the job he did for me. After corresponding with [redacted] in early February and agreeing on a price, I sent him my dissertation on Thursday, February 11, 2010. He guarantees jobs are done within 5 to 7 business days. This was absolutely not the case with the job he did for me. The timeline of our business transactions began on Thursday, February 11 when I sent [redacted] my material. On Wednesday, February 17 [redacted] received my check. Because I had not heard from him, on Tuesday, February 23 I had to email [redacted] to inquire how work was progressing. He responded that it was not ready and would another day or two at the most.

By Sunday, February 28 I still had not heard from him and contacted him again. I asked for my material as I needed to send it to my committee by March 1st. He said he could not have the material to me by March 1st. He said he could have it to me by March 2nd. I agreed to this; however, he had it to my late on March 2nd and I still had to approve what he sent and send the remainder of the money. Therefore, I did not have my document back until Wednesday, March 3.

In summation, I sent [redacted] my work on Thursday, February 11th and the job was not completed and returned to me until Wednesday, March 3, 2010 and this was only after I demanded that I have my work done by March 1, 2010. Of course, I received many excuses as to why the work was not completed on time and I never ever received a discount in the fee because of failure to not fulfill his guaranteed 5 to 7 business day policy.

Then when I received feedback from my committee they found numerous errors in very basic formatting issues, such as headings and spacing. Could I have done this myself? Yes, I could have. But I contacted [redacted] hoping he would do it for a reduced fee while thinking he would surely fix the errors he made for free. However, he quoted me a "reduced" price of $475.00 for fixing his own mistakes. He was insulted when I try to bring it down to $275.00. I foolishly agreed on $300.00 (again to fix his own mistakes) and sent him the document to fix. However, what document did [redacted] fix? The original document I sent him and not the most recent one. I then had to spend hours going through and making all the corrections that I personally made to [redacted]’s formatted document after he sent it to me the first time.

I have since learned that [redacted] has a very simple program for formatting headings and subheadings that [redacted] obviously is unaware of. I have also since learned that he should have made a Table of Contents for me, something I did not ask for but he should have known to do. How much did I pay for this service? I paid $1531.98. I will take full responsibility for making very bad decisions with paying for such poor and horrible service. I just don’t want this happening to other innocent people.

He came in and claimed he was a skilled carpenter and could do the job for me in a week. I agree and let him come in and re-do my cabinets. However, it takes him a month to complete the job and when it’s done; it looks fairly decent upon first glance. Yet, when I
