Client called very agitated from the beginning of the phone call, wanted to know why we charged him so much for the medicine he picked up yesterday. I let him know I would look into his account to see what he was referring to, he continued to complain about the price and listed off different...

pharmacies and their prices tor 30 tabs vs 7 tabs. I was trying to figure out what happened and asked why he had only gotten 7 tabs. He said that was all we would dispense because he was due for an exam. When I looked up his account I saw tha the was here for an exam on December 20th and was instructed by the doctor to return in 1-2 weeks for a recheck. I tried to explain to the owner the reason why we need the exam and this is why they only dispensed enough medication to get him to the appointment he scheduled later in the week. He did not listen and continued to talk over me complaining
about having to make an appointment and told me it was [redacted] ridiculous that we charged that much for medicine. I told him I would look into the situation more and give him a call back later. I checked with the doctor about the pricing and it was decided that the pricing was correct and fair and we would not adjust the price. I tried calling owner back, left a message explaining this on his voicemail. We had worked with him since his appointment in December to get him refills due to his financial
restraints and to give him time to make an appointment but at this point an exam was necessary before continuing
to refill meds. Client called later and spoke to our receptionist stating he wanted to speak with someone regarding prices, she began to look him up in our system and asked him for his phone number, instead he gave her his client id quickly and she did not hear it correctly. She asked again and he asked what her problem was and said we must be a bunch of [redacted] here. She stated to him that she did not appreciate the comment but would get the office manager to speak with him, I got on the line with him and asked if he received my message, he said he did not. I explained that the price of the medicine was correct and we are unable to adjust the price. He started yelling into the phone repeatedly saying you are a bunch of [redacted] and [redacted] and we are ripping him off also going on about different prices at other pharmacies. I tried to speak but he talked over me, I then said I did not need to listen to him speak to me in this way, he stated [redacted]. I told him I was hanging up and I said goodbye. He was not
interested in listening to what we had to say and it was impossible to come to any kind of solution for him as he would not listen and continued to be verbally abusive. Thank you, Office Manager
