9/3/You have to love a mechanic who believes in karma *** would not sell you a service or part that he wouldn't sell to his own mother He and his employees are extremely knowledgeable about BMWs, they care about their reputation and, more importantly, their customers Recently I was having engine trouble and took it in to SMW for an inspection *** told me that the turbo was going out, but he took the time to look up the status with the manufacture date of my turbo charger As it turns out, it was included in an extended warranty as a result of a class action lawsuit He couldn't do the warranty work, but pointed me to a local dealership that he trusted They confirmed the problem and agreed to replace the turbo chargers without charge (only after I prompted the dealer's service advisor to look it up based on the information that *** gave me - saving me $5,in parts and labor) I won't take my 535xi anywhere else Thanks *** ***
