Thank you for forwarding a copy of the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] regarding his experience with Affordable Auto.  Our customers are extremely important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to learn about and respond to any of their feedback, especially when it is less than...

complimentary. Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] did purchase a 2007 Dodge Durango from us on March 22, 2017.  Prior to purchasing the vehicle Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] test drove the vehicle and thoroughly inspected it. Attached please find the “Used Car Considerations” form signed by both where they acknowledge inspecting all of the headlights, turn signals, back up lights, brake lights, etc. before purchasing the vehicle.   In addition to negotiating a sale price $2,500 less than NADA retail, Affordable Auto agreed to: (1) repair a seat belt in the third row of seating which worked but the strap was partially torn, (2) replace the passenger side headlight which worked but had condensation on the interior lens, and (3) try to repair or replace a DVD headrest screen that had a line through the picture.  Mr. [redacted] wanted to take delivery of the vehicle at the time of the sale, and agreed to schedule appointents to complete the work at later dates. Ms. [redacted] brought the vehicle in on April 3, 2017.  The headlight was replaced but the replacement seat belt retraction part was incorrect and could not be installed.  Ms. [redacted] also mentioned that a right rear back up light bulb had stopped working, so we replaced that at no cost.  Finally, Ms. [redacted] complained of sometimes hearing a front-end noise when she drove.  That was diagnosed by our technician for free as well.  Ms. [redacted] stated at that time that the vehicle was driving great and seemed very happy with it. The seat belt retractor had to be special ordered from the manufacturer and arrived on April 26, 2017.  Mr. [redacted] brought the vehicle in shortly thereafter and had the part installed.  I can attest that the seat belt worked perfectly after the repair, as I spoke with Mr. [redacted] the day of the repair and he showed me how well it worked.  At that time I also spoke to him about the DVD screen, as I was having problems finding a replacement that would match the existing upholstery color.  I offered to provide a $500.00 credit to his account, but Mr. [redacted] told me he didn’t care if the color matched.  I took some information from the existing headrest monitor and told Mr. [redacted] we would get back to him.  Mr. [redacted] appeared very appreciative and did not relay any complaints regarding his vehicle at that time. It did take us a couple more weeks to find a good option for replacing the DVD screen.  After making arrangements with Aspen Sound on North Division Street I called and left voicemail messages for both Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] that they could bring their vehicle in to Aspen Sound to discuss and schedule the DVD replacement.   In mid-May Ms. [redacted] called and spoke to our technician about a problem the vehicle was having starting.  She made an appointment for later that week but ended up calling and rescheduling for the following week.  Ms. [redacted] missed her second appointment but did not call to cancel or reschedule.  She did not mention anything about the DVD headrest. We did not hear from the customers again until the week of June 19th when I spoke with Mr. [redacted] about his seat belt being stuck in the buckle.  I told him to bring it in so we could look at it.  He said he would call back to make an appointment.  Ms. [redacted] stopped by the morning of June 26th and had our technician inspect the seat belt.  The retractable strap was working and in good condition, but the buckle itself was dismantled.  Apparently the seat belt had gotten stuck in the buckle and Mr. [redacted] broke it apart to remove it.  When our technician informed Ms. [redacted] that she would have to pay for the repair to the buckle she became upset, stating that it never had worked, and that tMr. [redacted] had replaced a the starter but the vehicle was still having problems starting, and that the transmission was slipping.  After she calmed down our technician offered to give her a free appointment the next day to look into the other issues she raised. Several hours after Ms. [redacted] left Mr. [redacted] called and spoke to our technician.  He was also upset about having to pay to replace the seat belt Ms. [redacted] scheduled an appointment for June 27th at 2:30pm. Ms. [redacted] brought the vehicle in an hour late for the appointment.  When she arrived I told her about the Revdex.com complaint from Mr. [redacted] we had received that morning and asked if they really wanted to return the vehicle.  She said no, but that she was upset about the DVD headrest not being repaired or replaced.  During our discussion Ms. [redacted] said Mr. [redacted] had not told her about my previous conversation with him regarding the difficulty replacing the DVD screen with a matching one, nor about our offer to credit their account.  Ms. [redacted] then claimed we had not replaced the headlight as we had promised.  I reminded her that not only did we replaced the headlight, we also did additional work at no cost and showed her the written acknowledgment forms they signed when the work was completed.  She then grabbed her keys and left without allowing our technician the chance to inspect the vehicle.  The next day I received a call from Jose at Aspen Sound stating that Mr. [redacted] was there discussing his options for replacing the DVD headrest.  Jose assured me that he had told them Affordable Auto was paying for a replacement.  I have tried reaching out by phone to both Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] since then but have not received an answer or a return phone call.  At this point I don't know what more we can reasonably do to satisfy Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted].

I can't thank [redacted] and [redacted] enough for taking a chance on me when I needed a better car but didn't have a very big down or very good trade in. But they worked with me and took a chance on me and got me into a very nice reliable car! And because they report I was able to build my credit!! I recommend these guys highly!!

Just purchased our second used vehicle from Affordable Auto in Spokane. Have never had an easier or more pleasant car buying experience! The salesmen ([redacted], in our case) are low-pressure, straight-forward, and super-easy to work with. They don't waste hours of your time w/ slick gimmicks or pressure you into paying more than you're budget comfortably allows. [redacted], the mechanic, has gone way above and beyond in answering questions we had about the vehicles - even treating my 17-year-old son w/ respect and discussing engine performance, tires, and more with him.
The staff at Affordable Auto will work with anyone - regardless of credit history - and help get you into a reliable vehicle at a price you can afford. This will be the ONLY place I recommend to friends and family - and you can bet I'll go back when I'm ready to upgrade my Jeep!

Affordable Auto sells great vehicles. We bought our 2001 Dodge Dakota 4 wheel drive truck in 2012 and never had a problem with it. Our family will buy all our cars from Affordable Auto. I refer everyone I know to Affordable Auto.

Place was great, everyone else would hardly look at me, even but these guys really did everything they could for me, and man...I cant lie I was a tough sale but we found something that worked for both of us in my situation, they saved me a ton of money and got me into a mercury tracer, which after a bit of love is rock solid. theyir financing was very easy, the whole experience has just been super smooth. they actively search out options for you weekly if they cant find something on the lot that fits. These guys really do work for their business, and they earn it at least 150% of the time

I had an excellent experience after searching for what seamed like forever for someone who would help me out and get me and my children into something safe I decided I would make one more stop I saw afordable auto and decided to at least look and I found something that I liked and never thought I could have it but I was proven wrong they did absolutely a fantastic job very nice will work with you and make it happen. Thanks guys I am very thankful and happy

This is a great place of business. They stand by their cars and make it right both legally and morally. They held my car when I had only seen it on the internet and still had not even test driven it. They worked with me on the down payment as I did not quite have all of it. I love my car and she is still going strong. These guys that run this business are an exceptional group of people and deserve many kudos. Because they report to your credit report, it is a great way to fix or build your credit rating. I would and have recommended this business to all I encounter looking for a previously owned car. They truly do run an exceptional business!

This is the best car lot in Spokane! excellent customer service, go above and beyond to help and are the nicest guys around. I recommend this business to women especially because they are not out to make money as much as they want to make sure you get the best deal! And not pushy! Liked that part!
Great place to shop.
