The frame is required to be fixed with metal and welded for the correct support of the vehicle. The frame was not fixed to State Inspection satisfaction.Told her we would fix the frame, so that is correct and a sticker could have been issued after it was fixed.

Review: I bought a 1991 honda accord for $2500 approx. two years ago that ran fine except for a few minor problems-alignment, heater issues (no heat just cold air) and some body rust. It's first inspection, they told us there was some bearings that need replaced on the front end and I had also asked them to fix the heating issues. I told them that I only had a certain amount of money and if it the quote would have been more, then I didn't want the work done. The final quote was a few dollars cheaper than what I told them I had so I figured it would be fixed right and everything would be fine. I got the car back and the bill listed a lot more work than they had originally told me but I believed the work was done. The car ran well but the heating issue was not completely fixed. They had permanently set the heat on and I have no cold air but I wasn't too worried about it since the car ran. Three months later my oil started to leak into my spark plug chambers. I tried fixing it myself and ended up messing up my timing belt seal which in turn had oil leaking on to the timing belt. I drove it for a couple more months with the oil leaking adding oil on days necessary so my motor didn't seize up. I stopped driving it for about four months when the weather started to get bad. I had called advantage auto again telling them what had happened and suggested I might need a new motor and they had quoted me at 400-500 dollars to put it in. This time I didn't tell them how much I had to spend but told them to fix what was wrong. Well the car needed inspected again and the timing belt seal and another seal needed replaced. Once again the car needed "more" front end work and he hadn't figured out a bill yet and said it was approximately 1000 and we'd be good. My car is currently not running and it has back there 6 times because I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. There are more issues and better detailed can be provided without character restrictions.Desired Settlement: I would like my 1000 dollars back to take it to another mechanic who can handle my specific problem. If necessary, I would like Advantage Auto and affiliates to pay any repercussions above and beyond the 1000 dollars. Last years inspection cost me 700 dollars. After nearly 2000 dollars and multiple tows I would really like to be able to drive myself to work and stop asking for rides. A side note, I can only hope after the timeless returns to Advantage that their mechanics have not ruined my car.
