Dear MrM -
We apologize that you feel our communication has been so poor, but we had been in regular contact with you since submission of your claimUp to the point, however, given the unfortunate stand-still which we are in at the momentWe have gathered what we feel is a reasonable repair
estimate for your floor from a reputable local company; we communicated this to you and presented the amountYou have chosen not to accept our offer, which was emailed to you back in December It's not our policy to replace an entire floor when it can be professionally and adequately repairedThis is in the agreement with you and your employer
We are here to discuss; we are not avoiding you by any meansAs you know, we have compensated you for other damagesIn an effort to resolve your claim we will have a second repair firm contact you to perform repairs on the floor

Hello Ms***,
Thank you for reaching out to us through Revdex.com. I have left you a message and would like to discuss your claim with you furtherAfter an additional review of your claim our position has changed on some of the items initially denied. Please contact me at your earliest convenience and we can discuss and I am sure we will find resolution.Thank you,

August 2015, I had to move the contents of my entire 3/home to another location about miles away I was quoted a price for packing one day and moving days, days in total First of all, had I not packed 1/of my house during the process this would have never gotten done in the time quoted by the estimator Four men, one who spoke English, showed up and did move the boxes I had packed on the first day They started packing the second day and that took most of the day They only marked about 1/of the boxes and was a pain I had separated special items for moving that I needed packed up and cared for Long story short...they did not pack the table leaves, a stained glass window or a small table with a marble top These were just put in the truck When they were delivered to the new residence, they were very damaged They had fallen around in the truck and were broken or severely damaged I told the English speaking mover about this...I took pictures...and complained the next day to the company The company did say they would reimburse me for one item they broke but would not pay for the fixing of the damaged items...about $ This was a $move They proceeded to send me a scanned receipt with my signature that said I was made aware of these damaged items prior to moving I was not They were not damaged At the end of that last day, which lasted hours, the workers wanted to leave immediately and I was told to sign the receipt so they could go home There was nothing on the receipt except my signature It was filled in later after I had filed my complaint about the items that were broken Each item I complained about was listed on the receiptI was never given a receipt from that move and told it would be mailed to me Well, it was...with all the 'damaged' items listed I complained several times They refused to budge It appears this is likely a common practice with them DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING if you have any damage at all I was told if I didn't sign, they could not insure my items That is bunk AND...I paid extra for insurance! Unfair and fraudulent business practices DO NOTuse these people And to think I purchased lunch for the workers for days and tipped each of the $a day Ace Relocation sent me a settlement offer that would cover a broken bamboo towel holder for $ If I sign that, I forever give up my right to complain about the other damages I have about 1/weeks to sign or their offer for compensation is no longer viable I do not think $to repair the damaged items is outrageous My items are useless unless repaired

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I see from ACE Relocation Systems, Incresponse, the rejection of my claim is solely based on the "walk through" form I was pressured to sign. In response, I have further information I would like to be recognized as part of theinvestigation process. At the time of move out:• There were (sixteen) individual apartments moved out at one time.• There were six to eight (96-different) movers packing boxes all at the same time in 16, one bedroom apartments.• Then one person put numbered stickers on the boxes and filled out the “walk through” forms as to what was in the boxes. How could he know exactly what was in the boxes?• Then the procession started.o Six to eight (96-different) movers taking boxes from sixteen different apartments to four plus (4+) different trucks.• Then I was asked to sign the “walk through” form.o I walked through my apartment and saw it was empty.o Questioned the notations I did not understand on ‘walk through” form and was told it was okay to sign because everything was insured.Similarly at the time of mover in:? individual apartments moved in at one time.? Six to eight (48-different) movers taking boxes from approximately three (3) different trucks bring them to the apartments.? After everything had been delivered to my apartment it was apparent that I did not have a bed.o First the plan was to send me back to a hotel.o Then *** ***, Lead from ACE went looking for my bed. He did not find the bed but found the box spring (it is now 11pm),o And I am supposed to sleep on the floor. Did I mention I am years old with medical issues? The next day June 7, 2016 ACE returns with my bed and more boxes. Now I am asked to sign the “walk through” form saying I received all my item.I have experienced my bed and several boxes being misplaced.? Have not had the opportunity to go through the boxes.? Do not understand the hieroglyphics handwritten on the “walk through” form.? And guaranteed I had all my items by *** *** from ACE. He they packed everything so everything is insured.o Now I am beyond tired and pressured to sign the form…I sign.o When I unpacked I found several items missing.o I found bathroom items in a box labeled BR (bed room) etc.Several days, later *** brought items to my neighbor that had been found. somewhere? Also items were brought to me that was not mine. I requested those items be given to the proper party?? (Which was unknown to me?). Still have one item waiting to be removed from my patio. It has been a challenge to clarify the confusion and chaos associated with this transaction. I am optimistic you will reconsider my claim for missing and or lost items

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. The complaint is resolved because the company contacted me. All I wanted was a response the my emails. I waited a month for anything but three days after a Revdex.com complaint and I got a response.
Regards,

Dear Ms. [redacted],
Our claims department has thoroughly reviewed your claim and had determined that we do not have adequate proof that there were indeed missing items.  You signed the paperwork (attached) that acknowledges that everything that was removed from your origin...

residence was returned to your destination residence.  The claim was denied on July 19 via a letter (attached) that was mailed to you.  We are sorry you feel that items were missing but it simply cannot be substantiated.
Best regards,
Ace Relocation Systems
