Attached is a copy of the itemized contract for the [redacted] 's and a copy of the confirmation that it was emailedUnfortunately I don't have the written acknowledgement for the re-stocking feeWe have a reputation for disclosing information to our customers. We know for a FACT they were informed of this and it was discussed on the phone etcThat is why the business collects the larger depositSpecial orders are not returnable without feesIt costs to make and transport items from the manufacturer back and forth across the United States. As the owner, I don't want to continue to argue with the [redacted] 'sI will have the bookkeeper mail a check to them this weekSincerely, [redacted]

Consumer states that he will be waiting for the check and will consider the matter resolved once that check is received and cashed

I disagree with the sequence of events the business has providedI wish to reiterate that there was no restocking fee mentioned on the contractTherefore, the business should have never deducted the restocking fee from the deposit refundBusiness should provide remainder of the deposit which comes to $1,as soon as possibleConsumer states that there was never any verbal mention of a re-stocking feeIn addition, no record of the e-mail sent on 12-19-at 11:am, that included an itemized contract, was never receivedThat itemized list( or lack of) was the reason why the agreement fell through

The customers were informed of the re-stocking fee both by *** and the owner That was why we asked for a larger deposit because of having to order the special items When *** was talking to Mrs*** about what had happened, he again re-iterated the restocking fee and she said okay That he would get the amount after talking to the distributors and get back to them.We have a copy of the email that *** sent to Mrs *** He replied replied to her email that she had sent Her email address was [email protected]

Our sales person, [redacted], had been working with the [redacted]'s since May 2016 for flooring for their house.  The [redacted]'s cancelled 2 appointments after 3 visits to our showroom.  On the 3rd appointment [redacted] was able to measure the home.He visited them again two times.  One of these...

times was with the contractor [redacted] to walk the job etc., to determine what had to be done, time, what would be needed, etc. to complete the job.On 12-15-16, Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] came to the store to go over the contract.  It was signed by Mr. [redacted]. They were informed that we need to collect half of the contract before we ordered as this is a special order.  It would be coming from the manufacturer and subject to a re-stocking fee of 25%.  The [redacted]'s gave [redacted] the deposit and the orders were placed. As the [redacted]'s were leaving, Mrs. [redacted] asked for an itemized listing.  [redacted] said he could to that but Mr.[redacted] told [redacted] not to worry about it, he trusted him, etc. then they left. The [redacted]'s called on Saturday December 17th asking for [redacted].  They were informed that he had the day off and would be in on Monday.  The owner was talking to them and asked if he could do something for them.  They proceeded to tell him to put the order on hold. The owner informed them the orders were already placed on 12-15-16, but we could [redacted] know so he could provide that. When [redacted] came to work on Monday, December 19th at 10:00 am, he was informed that the [redacted]'s had called on Saturday asking to place the order on hold...stop everything;  that they wanted an itemized. After having this discussion with the owner, [redacted] called the customer.  He asked Mrs. [redacted] what was the reason for the sudden change of mind.  She said that they wanted to wait and that she would have Mr. [redacted] call him ([redacted]),  [redacted] emailed an itemized contract to them shortly after the conversation at 11:46 am on 12-19-16.  This is the last time that [redacted] had a conversation with the customers.  Mr. [redacted] never called [redacted] back. The bookkeeper was off for a few days due to holiday season.  The bookkeeper on 12-27-16 itemized the re-stocking fee on the invoice, deducted it from the deposit, and mailed it along with the check to the [redacted]'s on 12-27-16.  She personally handed it to the postman.

Consumer states that he will be waiting for the check and will consider the matter resolved once that check is received and cashed.

Attached is a copy of the itemized contract for the [redacted]'s and a copy of the confirmation that it was emailed. Unfortunately I don't have the written acknowledgement for the re-stocking fee. We have a reputation for disclosing information to our customers. We know for a FACT they were informed of this and it was discussed on the phone etc. That is why the business collects the larger deposit. Special orders are not returnable without fees. It costs to make and transport items from the manufacturer back and forth across the United States. As the owner, I don't want to continue to argue with the [redacted]'s. I will have the bookkeeper mail a check to them this week. Sincerely,[redacted]

I disagree with the sequence of events the business has provided. I wish to reiterate that there was no restocking fee mentioned on the contract. Therefore, the business should have never deducted the restocking fee from the deposit refund. Business should provide remainder of the deposit which comes to $1,267.57 as soon as possible. Consumer states that there was never any verbal mention of a re-stocking fee. In addition, no record of the e-mail sent on 12-19-2016 at 11:46 am, that included an itemized contract, was never received. That itemized list( or lack of) was the reason why the agreement fell through.
