This customer towed her care in because it was not driveable.The code was p2100 electonic throttle control motor.We tested and found that...

(Etc) Electronic Throttle control motor was malfunctioning and sticking.We recommended to replace & retest.Customer was advised.Customer needed help from family to pay for repair with credit card over phone.We normally do not accept this type of payment from out of state but we wanted to help her so we faxed and emailed all the legal documents to family member to get payment.Once we repaired vehicle we tested and vehicle is now driveable but has code p2317 ignition coil secondary circuit and also has intermittent code for throttle control circuit.The original code was for throttle control motor which is gone now.This is a common repair for this vehicle.The vehicle is driveable now so original repair was a good repair but unfortunately the vehicle needs more repairs to be right.The customer lives out of town and we don't want her to get stuck with a vehicle that still has a problem.We are not forcing anything on anyone.As a professional we have a duty to explain the services that each vehicle needs and what can happen if it doesn't get fixed.The customer told us she can't afford to get vehicle fixed.So we explained that we would try to find a used part to try to save her some money so she could afford it.We don't recommend used parts because we are not able to give a good warranty but we are trying to help customer.I even told her I would help with the cost personally if she could come up with anything close.Cost was 450.00 for used parts.I am willing to help anyway I can to resolve this complaint.Thank You [redacted].
