I am rejecting this response because:The foam roof system installed shrunk away from the sides of the parapet walls leaving gaps in the roof several inches wide The engineer I hired had also worked for A New Millennium on another project, and *** *** informed me that he respected the engineer's opinionTherefore, the engineer stated to both of us that the first install of the foam was way too dense and because of this, shrunk dramatically A New Millennium denied any fault with the failure of this roof from the first contact about the problemI purchased a $15,foam roofing system from A New Millennium because I was sold that it was the best roofing system and that I would get a ten year guaranteeI waited from August 1, to October 23, to get the defective roof replacedI spent thousands of dollars of my money to buy tarps to cover the roof (1,500.00) labor to install and maintain the tarps for over two months ($760.00) engineer to force A New Millennium to honor their guarantee (final bill not received but told not less than $2,000.00) and attorney's fees (final cost undetermined)
I find it very curious how A New Millennium states something is wrong with my building when the engineer could not find any problems with the foundation, nor the construction of the year old structure The building lasted years without major cracks in the walls until August 1, Sure, I did not trust A New Millennium because when the problem occurred *** *** denied that his foam material was the cause of the problem and he blamed my buildingI wanted him to figure out what the problem was and to fix the damageHe did not offer me any explanations beyond stating that something was wrong with the structure I can tell you, this building was built during a time when quality materials and craftsmanship existed and the result was my building standing strong for yearsThe decking of the building was in excellent shapeNo deterioration anywhere.
Yes, New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department, Construction Industries Division has interceded in this matter because A New Millennium never got a permit for the work and never had the City of Albuquerque inspect the job as A New Millennium is required by law The consumer is not required to pull a permit according to *** ***, Compliance Bureau Chief of New Mexico CID *** *** The consumer has to trust the company doing the work because if the company does not do a good job, it is very difficult for the consumer to get the job completed correctlySadly, I have learned this lesson and am very disappointed in the performance of A New Millennium in regards to the way they handled my situationThen to insult me with the reply A New Millennium gave to the Revdex.com today, SHOCKING!
Mr*** is extremely dissatisfied with all that he has had to do to get his roof replaced and the high additional costs.
