A First Rate Mobile Auto Repair

I called [redacted] because I received his phone number from Auto Zone in which they expressed to me that he won't rip me off and he's also a great mobile mechanic. He showed up at my apartment complex and provided the parts to get my car to pass emissions and got the job finished in only a couple hours. I took my car through emissions the next day and it passed. I really think it's a neat concept(mobile auto repair) and [redacted] made it seem like he's been doing it for years. I had hired Mr. Skaggs to work on my car. I prepaid him to pick up a starter relay and was told that it would take a few days to come in because it was a special order part. This was on July 26th. I was told that the part would be available on Monday July 30th and that he would be picking it up and then I was to bring my car to him that evening. I never got a call and had been calling all day. Finally I got a text saying that he was unable to get the part because he was held up at work and that he would be picking it up the next day and was going to meet with me to install it. Again there was no call and no text and he never showed. My car ended up dying and wouldn't start up and I had to leave it at my work parking lot. Mr. Skaggs never answered his phone once. He sent me another text message the following morning telling me that he was on his way to bring me the relay switch and that he was held up once again with other work. He never showed AGAIN, and I tried to call and text and got no response and no call back. After that I continued to leave messages and texts requesting that he return my money that I paid in advance and got no response. I have never dealt with a business that never calls anyone back especially when you have been blown off three times in a row for an appointment. I would like my money back and am tired of being avoided and basically robbed of my money that I prepaid for in advance and got neither my part or service that was promised.
