A-1 Sanitation Service

Review: On 1/30/14 I called A1 Sanitation to look at our septic that I thought might be clogged because we had water coming up through our toilet. Kyle from A1 came out around 7:30 pm and inspected the tank. It took him all about 20 mins and he concluded that the septic was fine and the clog was probably in the house. He then told us it was a 250.00 emergency charge for him to come out. He then offered to come back on 2/3/14 to clean out the septic tank. In the meantime our septic tank was just cleaned out in September and did not need service. We then called the office on 2/10/14 to talk to the manager about the service charge. [redacted] the owner said there was no emergency service charge. His employees get paid overtime. [redacted] stated he would talk to Kyle and get back to us. He never returned any calls. Therefore we stopped payment on our check. I feel that we were taken advantage of in an emergency situation and was lied to and yet still have yet to have the courtesy of a return phone call from the manager. Now we are being harassed by his office with collection notices.Desired Settlement: I want the courtesy and professionalism of an explanation of the charges. I refuse to pay for a service that we did not need nor asked for.
