The 2020 Ford truck have changed and it did not want to work with the 2019 programming. But the team at 12 volt solutions worked with me to get my 2020 Ford truck remote start working. The staff was very helpful and took their time to get me up and started without sitting in the seat. I would recommend 12 Volt Solutions if you are needing remote start for you vehicle.

I purchased a remote starter package with a mobile app module for my RAV4. To be included with my kit were installation videos and up to date pdf instructions. It shipped quickly! Upon receiving it I filled a complaint about how the instructions were poor. I was just told to plug in the connectors to those that matched. That was unhelpful! This was only supposed to take 20-30 minutes. After 3 hours the first night I gave up on this as they closed their customer service line; which oddly enough is by call back only.
The next day I had five hours into this. Through working with customer service on this during multiple phone calls it was discovered that there was several things wrong. The first thing that was wrong was the location of ECM connector. It was not on the left side of the steering wheel near the door, but on the right side high above the accelerator pedal. It was no wonder I couldn't find it. The second thing that was wrong was the shape of the connector. Making it impossible to find. Even if I had found it, the identified wire to be spliced was wrong.
After many hours it was discovered that their instructions were wrong, and the proper instructions were sent to me. With the new proper instructions, I was able to find the ECM connector and splice the proper wire.
Unfortunately the splice was to large, and didn't make a connection. After remaking the splice it still didn't have a connection. I had to hand strip the insulation from the wire, and make the connection. The third time was the charm, and they walked me through connecting the app module.
I asked the customer service agent for compensation for all my hard work that was wrapped up in this. They had not done the proper R & D before releasing this product. There were no promised installation videos. The instructions were incorrect. The splice was wrong. I am a former USAF F-16 jet engine mechanic. I have certifications to work on three different brands of SCUBA equipment, three different gun manufacturers, and I am HVAC certified in the State of Michigan. The trouble was not on my end.
In total I contacted 12-Volt Solutions three times requesting compensation for their failure to provide the promised product support. That is part of what is sold on their website. I lost a half days work and eight hours to a promised 20-30 minute install. They didn't even care to respond to my inquiries for compensation.
To be fair the product did finally work after doing the R & D with their customer support team. I am happy with it now. They just didn't give me the promised instructions or videos, and are unwilling to compensate me for their lack of preparation. I lost my time and also hours at work, because they were not ready to put this on the market. In my opinion their unwillingness to compensate me shows that they don't care about the consumer.

I really can't believe it was as easy as described. Instructions were very clear and precise, not that you'll need them. Everything seem quite apparent when you take a look at it. But the video was awesome too.

Best remote start ever so easy to install yourself! Took about half an hour maybe less. No cutting wires and was able to use my own remote like factory install.

BEWARE of 12 VOLT SOLUTIONS:

Sharing my experience with 12 volt solution. I received a "plug and play" remote starter for my Fj cruiser. Once installed my remote door locks wouldn't work on their remotes. I contacted the company and they said I needed to "hack" into my wire harness and switch around some wires, "they claim this has happened on previous Fj cruisers" So with no other option and a guarantee it will work, I hacked into my harness, followed their directions only to find out it did more damage then fix the problem. I was told I would receive a refund for my troubles.. this was over a month ago, the company has now gone silent, no refund was given, they won't return phone calls, emails, text messages or private messages thru Facebook. Their contact phone number goes directly to a recording that leaves no options for leaving a message. I have literally tried every possible way to contact them. At first I was given a personal phone number, they texted me photos of the hack I needed to do, now they will not respond to me at all. I've been nice and patient this long, but now I'm done being nice. This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with purchasing something online. Just trying to give people a heads up and fair warning in here along with the Revdex.com before they get screwed like I did.

I got the G key remote starter for my Toyota 4runner in the mail within 2 days , it was a easy installation and works as advertised and , so far so good. Thanks Clay.ð???

Product did not function and the company will not give me a refund.
Purchased a remote start for a car. The remote start did not function. Contacted 12 volt solutions and went through troubleshooting. They said it was faulty and sent me a return shipping label. I mailed the product back to them. They are refusing to give me a refund stating they sent another unit to my home. I have an email trail where I told them I wanted a refund, and they stated they would give me a refund. I shipped the unit back. I have a tracking number where they received the product. They are stating the product is missing, they are stating they sent me another. I just want a refund.

This whole situation has been resolved. There was a mass miscommunication between two employees and the customer. *** was refunded for his purchase and we are in the process of retrieving the other kit.

on March 7th I ordered a remote start kit from 12 volt solution and they said my package would be delivered on March 10th well I left for a vacation on March 9th and I got back on may 6th I check my mail and I didn't received it so on may 7th I contacted the place on email and I said my package never came and he replied and said I received it on March 10th and I told him I did not receive it on March 10th and he said oh well it was 2 months ago there is nothing we can do I was like seriously'?? And I told him I want a replacement of that one that got lost or I want a refund and he said sorry there is nothing we can do? I feel this place is not even real I just want a refund or replacement and that's it and I will be on my way I am very very frustrated I paid 313.65 dollars for this and does not feel it's right that I gave that amount of money for nothing I want something done about it. I would really like my money back.

Customer changed his story several times during conversation and refused to contact us by phone. After letting him know we would report him for internet fraud he then emailed us stating that he spoke to his neighbor and found the kit with them. We attempted to assist him until he continuously changed his story.
